Azize (Unfinished)

Escape Plan

Azize & Kartal arrive at a new safe house, giving themselves some time to calculate an escape for Yigit, as well as themselves.

Azize spent her whole life watching over her brother; almost like a parental figure. Only to finally reunite with each other, to once again, needing to disappear. The thought of Yigit being in the hands of a criminal horrified her. To soothe her conscience, she needed the most important person in her life beside her; well, now also considering another man in her life...

Azize: "I can't leave without him; I have waited too long to be with my brother, he's finally improving and needs to be with me."

Kartal: "Everything will be fine. We will get him from Barbaros, I promise."

Azize looks at Kartal, knowing the sincerity of his words. Their elongated gaze confirms the confidence she has in him. She knows that Kartal will always be honest with her; just as she is with him.

Kartal: "Now we have to figure out a way to get Yigit out of Barbaros's house safely."

Azize: "How can we do that if Kuzey isn't there?"

Kartal: "I can call Kuzey and tell him to spend time with his grandfather. He can distract him while we go upstairs and pick up Yigit quickly."

Azize: "Ok. But Yigit is unable to walk, I will have to hold him."

Kartal: "No, I can do it."

Azize: "Are you sure? What if something happens?"

Kartal: "Don't worry. Let me tell Yaman."

"Yaman! We need to sneak up to Barbaros's house and pick up Azize's brother"

Yaman: "Ok brother, when are we going?"

Kartal: "I will call Kuzey to check up what's going on in the house, and see if he can visit Barbaros tomorrow."

Yaman agrees and runs off to notify the rest of the men about the plans.

Azize: "You need to be careful, don't want to open your stitches."

Kartal: "Its ok, if that happens, I know a good nurse that will fix it."

Azize gives a slight smirk, not certain how to react.

Meanwhile in the Alpan mansion...

Balkan: "It seems as though Kartal went after the nurse again..."

Asya's facial expression changes to a look of disgust; fueled with anger, she rushes outside to see where her assumed "fiancé" had went. The clicking of her heels brings an echo to the entire house, that anybody could hear one approaching, knowing exactly which direction. She quickly opens the main door hoping to find Kartal, but quickly realizes no one is in sight. Asya engages with one of the bodyguards:

Asya: "Hey! Did you see where the nurse or Kartal went?"

The boyguard shrugged his shoulders, which only frustrated Asya even more. Asya did not want to believe that Kartal was with Azize again. The thought of them being alone together infuriates her. In Asya's mind, Kartal only belonged to her. Their bond was almost unbreakable, and no other woman could take her place. Until Azize came into his life, changing their entire world. The possibility of a marriage with him was nearly diminished, as she realizes Kartal does not love her. His heart is occupied by another.

Asya scoffs and rushes to her car, driving back to the initial safe house in hopes of finding him there.

As she is driving, she calls Kartal 3 times, all receiving "this subscriber is not available". She finally arrives at the house, looking through the windows to see if Kartal was there with Azize.

To her surprise, no one was present.

Kuzey remains at the dinner table, attempting to graze over what the rest of the family had recently witnessed.

Balkan: "It's safe to say that they aren't coming back. Sorry about the empty table, mother."

Zeynep: "It's ok son. Did not expect dinner to go this way."
... "Everyone, let's get ready for bed. I expect you all to be prepared for the funeral tomorrow."

Balkan: "Ok mother. We will do as you say"... "Yildiz, take Celine upstairs."

Yildiz glares at Balkan, wanting to retort a comeback but forced her mouth shut. She quietly takes Celine by the hand and walks her upstairs. Tuna follows along with Kuzey, ready to end the day. Kuzey stops as his phone beings vibrating in his pocket. He excuses himself, kisses his aunt goodnight, rushing to his room before he answers.

Kartal begins speaking on the phone:

"Kuzey, are you alone?"

Kuzey: "Yes, I'm listening"

Kartal: "We need you to stay with grandfather; keep him busy so we can take Yigit."

Kuzey: "Ok uncle, but grandmother just dismissed everyone to go to bed. She expects us to be here for the funeral tomorrow"

Kartal: "Ok Kuzey, we will have to do this quickly tomorrow after the funeral."

Kuzey: "See you tomorrow then."

**call ends**

As Tuna enters her room, shuts the door and thinks to herself:

Tuna: 'I can't believe the policeman was Azize's father...'

'How could this happen?... How did brother die today?!'

Tears begin to fill her eyes as she is overwhelmed with emotion. She did not expect to hear any of this from Azize. She feels pity for her, as she was unaware of what Azize suffered. Without knowing her well, she put trust in her. Azize would always help & protect the Alpans in her perspective; unaware of the hidden agenda. It goes with out saying that regardless of her feelings, she cannot verbalize it. Tuna reminded herself of going against the family... as she did for love. Azize may appear to be a traitor, but Tuna feels this way within herself.

As Yildiz is tucking Celine into bed, she does so quickly to avoid any more conversation. She kisses Celine goodnight, and briskly walks to her corridor.

Yildiz is anxious from the almost unexpected reveal of Kuzey's father. The young boy she cared for as her own, could have been taken away within a matter of seconds. To change that now would impact not only her relationship with him, but with the rest of the Alpan family. Adnan was prepared to unleash this dark secret, until Tuna prevented him by threatening her own life. Now that the truth has been exposed to the biological father, it is unclear whether he will keep this to himself. What parent would not want to be involved in their children's lives? A parent who will do almost anything for their children have no bounds.

If Iskender had not passed away, along with Azize's identity exposure, it's unclear what else would have been brought to the surface.
