Everyone is preparing for the day that was not expected to come. The house begins to fill with people flooding the gates, coming to give condolences. Those who showed up were told to turn around & go home under orders of Zeynep. The Alpan's are aware they appear weak to other crime lords due to the death of Iskender. However, Zeynep will bring strength for the Alpan's by standing as one unit. Losing Iskender may have presented vulnerability, but those members do not know who Zeynep Alpan is; let alone what she is capable of. The women in the house are wearing black, waiting to go bury their beloved brother/father. The man that was Iskender Alpan, was no more.

Balkan enters the room with a sly smirk on his face, unfazed by the recent events.

Balkan: "Today we bury the father. This is the end of Iskender Alpan."

Celine: "What happened to grandfather?"

Yildiz: "Celine daughter, let's go into the kitchen ok? Spend time with Ms. Gül."

Celine: "Ok, mother. I think my dolls are dirty again."

Yildiz takes her hand & walks her away from the main entrance into the kitchen. She doesn't know how to explain death to her daughter... let alone the passing of her grandfather. How does one explain death to a child?
....
Ceyda: "I can't believe dad is gone."
Yaman comes up behind her & whispers in Ceyda's ear:

"I'm sorry about your father."

Ceyda gives a quick glance in order to not draw unwanted attention between her & Yaman. Their relationship still forbidden & secretive, just like Tuna and Adnan. A love that cannot be expressed in front of the ones they are closest to. Ofcourse Ceyda desires a union with him, but is afraid of the possible repercussions.

Tuna stares at the pitch black casket in the living room, waiting to be buried. She is unable to comprehend what happened to her brother. It all happened so quickly without notice. No explanation could ease her pain, as well as her sorrow slowly consuming her.

Adnan taps her shoulder as a minimal form of affection, because hugging would cause some eyes to turn. By him doing this, it verbalizes the words he wishes to say; that he is there for her.

Adnan: "Im sorry about your brother, Tuna. My condolences."

Tuna nods her head in response, as she is unable to formulate words at this point. She attempts to put on a brave face, but fails miserably. She feels the need to scream in agony, but is getting all choked up by tears. The mental torture she suffered, nearly removing herself from the picture; just in order to prevent the abrupt reveal that Kuzey is her biological son.

Tuna rushes away into her room, wanting to avoid the others from seeing her in distress. She shuts the door quickly, grabs a pillow from her bed and screams into it while crying profusely. Tuna did what she could to prevent any noise to echo into the hallway, bringing attention to Kuzey or anyone else. Nothing but tears can properly describe the mental catastrophe she is facing.

***

Zeynep slowly approaches the casket, saying her last words to her deceased husband.

Zeynep: "Iskender did everything he could to maintain power in the underworld. He sacrificed everything, including me. He was willing to kill my children if I ever planned to return. ... Was he being merciful by keeping me away from them?"

Zeynep showed no emotion, as it had died with her 18 years ago.
...
At this point everyone is confused, no one really knew he had heart problems. Barbaros suspects that Balkan had done it, which he would be right. But there is no way Balkan will admit it & go to prison because of Iskender again. After all, their relationship as father and son was non-existent.
