Chapter 15

Barry and Iris have been spending a lot of time with each other. They've been enjoying each other's presence and having fun.

The first week they gave Benny a bath, which escalated to Barry and Iris splashing water on each other. At one point during breakfast, Barry wanted to show off his skills. When the pancake was almost ready, he had lifted the pan high up which caused the pancake to soar in the air. Eventually, Barry was able to catch it on the pan again. This impressed Iris, due to her laughing and clapping. During the second week, they had cooked dinner together in the kitchen. They had made a nice vegetable curry with rice. And after dinner, Barry had volunteered to wash the dishes while Iris cleaned up. At some point, Iris fell asleep on the couch as Barry watched her for a while before carrying her to bed and tucking her in. He removed her glasses and placed them on the bedside, before giving her a kiss and leaving to go to his room.

You know, I started falling for you ever since you kissed me back at the hospital. Ever since then, I never stopped loving you. And don't worry Barry Allen, I will never leave you. I'm not like your uncle at all. Iris professed as they cuddled on the patio lounge couch on the deck. I love you. Barry smiled as he kissed Iris. There's something I've been wanting to ask you... Do you maybe want to go out to dinner with me tonight? Barry asked nervously with a fruity and husky voice. Iris looked up at him. I would love to go out to dinner with you tonight, Barry. Iris smiled.
