Dahlia was not a person that you could often surprise, but seeing her nephew walk in their living space, with a dazed looked and bewildered facial expression, well... color her intrigued.
"What happened?" beat her Davina to the punch.
"We... we met Mikael," admitted Henry causing Dahlia to rise expectant eyebrow, while Marcel looked worried, thinking that the man somehow hurt the kid.
"And...?" pressed on Davina, her eyebrows scrunched with worry.
"He hugged me," said Henrik, his facial expression bemused and stupefied, as if he couldn't believe what he was saying himself.
"He... what?" eloquently asked Marcel, clearly not expecting that.
"Henrik hypothesized, that maybe witches messed with his brain," helpfully supplied Malachai, receiving reluctant nods. That made sense.
"What are you doing here Marcel, this early in the morning?" asked Henrik finally noticing his presence.
"I've got some bad news," cringed Marcel. Hating to be the one to bear them. "Just don't Avada-Kedavra the messenger please," half-joked the vampire.
Henrik opened his eyes a bit wider, signaling that he was listening. Marcel sucked in a shaky breath. "Remember how I told you that werewolves allied themselves with those witches?" Henrik nodded his head, indicating that he, indeed remembered that unpleasant little detail. "Well... turns out some of my vampires decided to join them. Witches cast a boundary spell, where no vampire or werewolf can get in, unless they approve," told him, Marcel.
"How about humans? Is this species-specified spell? Did they exclude only werewolves and vampires?" fired off Henrik, trying to get as much info, as he could.
"Humans can go in just fine, not sure about witches though," admitted Marcel, scowling at the thought that people he trusted - betrayed him.
"Mhmm..." hummed Henrik, taking a seat. His mind working in overdrive.
"I know that face. You are plotting, and by the looks of it, something diabolical," told him, Kai, taking a seat opposite to him, peering into his eyes. Marcel just snorted, already familiar with that look, only on Niklaus' face.
"You guys stay here, drink tea or practice magic, I have an idea how to get rid of those traitors," smirked Henrik.
"Care to share with the class?" asked Davina, honestly curious.
