I sighed, leaning back on the couch and going on my phone. My parents called her over to talk, they were interested in her apparently.... I was salty, ngl...
"So Daisy, how's your modeling career going as far as being with this company?" My mother asked, waiting for a reply.
"Well I get paid a lot here, it's mostly why I haven't moved," she began. I widened my eyes, did she really just say she gets paid a lot? Wow... "I definitely wanna move up to being individual. I'll be famous," she said, smiling wide. This was horrible, listening to those words come out of her mouth.
"Great attitude towards your focus. My daughter is the same way," my Father said. But it didn't end there, and this time it was on me.
"I notice. She came up with that lake idea, but it just wasn't that good so they didn't choose it," she said. I was tired of it at this point.... I turned off my phone and looked at her confused. Was she stupid?
"Actually, I liked the idea," Griffin said from the background, still standing with Payton. Daisy glared at him, "it was smart, the directors just didn't follow through," he added, giving her a serious look.
"I like it too, it would make good photos," Payton spoke up. I looked at them both, it was nice they spoke up for me, but I knew how to tear her down without getting angry.
I stood up and glanced at everyone, then Daisy.
"You do know, Daisy's right. It was the directors fault for not choosing my idea," I began. She furrowed her eyebrows at me.
"I never said that," she said, crossing her arms.
"Then what did you say..." I asked, waiting for her dumb reply.
"It's not good," she simply said. At this point, I was about to knock her head off her body... breath.. breath, damnit. I inhaled.
"Thank you for your feedback, I'll make sure to take it into consideration," I said, smiling at her. She couldn't say anything nasty back, otherwise she would REALLY seem like the bitch she is.
It was silent for a moment, but Payton's and my parents begin talking again.
A few minutes pass and Mother walks over to me.
"We're leaving with the Moormeier's for lunch now, c'mon," she said, helping me up from the couch I sank into. We all begin walking outside and stand for a moment, waiting for our parents to lead the way. Soon, we start walking down the sidewalks.
Payton runs up from behind me and hugs me from behind, causing us to stop for a moment. I looked back to see his lil' smile.. He soon goes on the side of me and wraps his arm around my shoulders.
"So..." He began, waiting for a reply. I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"How was it?" He asked. I smiled, now realizing what he was talking about.
"Tiring," I began, "6 hours of modeling is not easy," I said, us both laughing.
"I wish I could have watched," he said quietly, looking out at the buildings and cars passing by.
"Yeah, I'm sure you would have watched me model for 6 hours straight," I said sarcastically.
"I would have!!" He said, poking my side. I yelped, moving slightly, "I didn't even get to see you in your outfit," he said.
"Yes you did!" I said, "without permission too..." I mumbled, him hearing.
"Hey, I took my chance okay?" He said defensively, me laughing, "and I didn't get to FULLY see you," he said, dragging out the word 'fully'.
