I catch my breath, quickly hopping out of the car. I had spent so much time next to Destiny and Kiara, I hated every second of it.
My family grabs all our things and piles it in front of my Aunt's house.
Daisy jumps out of the car and runs towards me, wrapping her arms around me.
"Thank you." She says.
"For what?"
"For being my friend even though I was a bitch to you. You changed my life." She says, letting me go.
"Oh Daisy, I love you." I say, "and I'm so glad we became friends."
We both laugh a little and she goes to hug Griffin. Just then, I watch as Payton approaches me. He presses his lips against mine and pulls me into a hug. He places his head against mine.
"Bye, April." He smiles.
"Call me when you get home." I whine.
"I will, but that won't be for another hour." He scoffs.
"I don't care, just call me." I grab the sleeve of his hoodie. He pulls me in, kissing me again. I grab the back of his neck, messing with his baby hairs. He starts to smile.
"What?" I say, smiling too.
"Nothing, you're just really pretty." He says, pecking my lips and going back to the car. Daisy heads back too, blowing a kiss to me.
"See you guys at school!!" She yells, the door shutting behind her. Both ubers drive off.
"Welp, that's the end of that." Father says, grabbing two pieces of luggage. Griff, Mother, and I all start to bring luggage in too. ____________________________________
I yawn, grasping my pillow tighter. My eyes slowly open as I hear someone walk in the room. I sit up and see mother quietly making her way in my room. She notices that I'm awake and smiles.
"Goodmorning." She says, opening the blinds.
"Morning." I groan.
"Ready for school?"
"Not really... I'm so tired from our trip." I wipe my eyes and make my way out of bed and into the bathroom.
"Whenever you're ready, there's coffee cake downstairs." She says, leaving the room and shutting the door. I brush my teeth, brush my hair, along with everything else. I step into my closet and look around, trying to pair an outfit in my head.

I slide on some converse and a little pearl bracelet. I grab my backpack and jog downstairs. Griffin was watching tv, he didn't have classes till later since he was in college. I grab a piece of coffee cake and wrap it in a napkin, setting it down on the counter. I start the keurig and place a mug underneath it. Once I prepare my coffee the way I liked, I pour it into a little thermos.
