¡Mattia¡

°Monday°

School wasn't too bad today. I hung with the boys, until Alex came over to us, and decided on taking me to her table for lunch. I wanted to not go, because the look on Kairi's face made me feel the worst. The empty feeling in my chest, hurt.

But, I followed her anyways, after all, we're together, and that's what I gotta do right? Listen to her, and stick by her. Unless she tries to make me turn on my boys, then ya'know, we gotta end it.

¡Alvaro¡

Mattia walked off with Alex towards her friends and whatnot, and Kairi watched in silence. "Kai-" "I'm fine." He muttered, sinking down in his seat. Everyone knew he took a liking for Mattia. It was more noticeable, more opened. For us I mean, no one else.

Everyone knew Kairi didn't like Alex, she had Mattia under her finger as quick as mattia can say 'Fam'. Kairi despised her, that she had tooken Mattia away from him, and he couldn't do a single thing about it.

"Wait-what's happening?" Kairi suddenly asked, sitting up, as he watched mattia and alex walk out the lunchroom, but still could be seen through the door windows. "They seem to be....fighting." Alejandro stated, as he sat up from laying on my shoulder. "Yeah, a little heated if you ask me." Roshaun added, and he wasn't wrong.

Because they were going at it. Back and forth, hand movements and everything. I guess we were so caught up in watching, because when Mattia pointed at us, we all flinched and turned away from the two. "Welp, it's God's problem now." Roshaun joked, eating a fry. I looked back at mattia and Alex, before dismissing it, it was probably a miscommunication thing, nothing too drastic.

¡Mattia¡

"I don't like the way he looks at you Mattia." Alex stated, crossing her arms. I looked down at her in disbelief. "He's my best friend. Why do you have a problem with how he looks at me?" I asked her, this was wack.

"Because, can you not see? He looks at you like you're his. And last time I checked, you were dating him before." I rolled my eyes, "Alex. He's my best friend, feelings are gone. Both ways, he just cares." Okay maybe I lied, on my behalf. I very much indeed like kairi, I wasn't too sure if he liked me still, but either way, telling her that wouldn't make things better.

"Mattia! He is flirting with you! It's clear he likes you!" Alex exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air. "Kai-Kairi? He's my best friend goddamn! He doesn't flirt with me! He knows what's up!" I yelled back, pointing towards them.

She sighed, "It's just. I know Kairi is your best friend. I'm just scared I guess, that he would take you away from me. He knows you a lot more than I do." She muttered, I grabbed her hands, "alex, don't say that. That won't happen I can assure you. I want you, not him." If I'm being honest, I grimaced at that.

Because I wanted Kairi, not Alex.

She smiled, before pulling me back into the lunch room, eyes on us. The only eyes that seemed to stick out were Kairi's. His eyes said a lot, showed a lot. No matter how much I tried not to stare at him, while Alex sat in my lap, I couldn't help but do so.

He's my best friend; but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to have him be more than that.
