as the bell rang for the third period, [your name] slowly packed up her stuff and changed the song she was listening to to 'love maze'. when she turned around, everyone except bakugou was gone.

the girl slowly walked up to him and gripped her bag tightly. she opened her mouth to speak but was silenced by a finger to her mouth. [your name] pouted, earning a chuckle from bakugou. he intertwined their hands and lead her up the stairs to the roof.

[your name] felt her heart flutter from how warm bakugou's hand was. she continued to stare at the back of head, suddenly having the urge to run her hands through his pompom like hair.

"b - bakugou," she called out quietly, mentally cursing for stuttering. "we have class, we can't be here." he nodded and sat [your name] down on a bench on the roof, he sat down next to her and didn't bother letting go of her hand. neither of them minded anyway...

"i know but... why didn't you help that half 'n half bastars when i punched 'em?" she giggled at the memory of shoto getting punch, it was the highlight of her day.

with a soft sigh, she pulled her hood down and popped out her ear buds and stared down at her lap sadly, telling bakugou the tale of her tragic break up. a few stray tears manage to escape once she had completed her tale.

bakugou felt his heart break at the sight and wiped her tears, pulling the girl into a hug. "he's a stupid asshole if he can't appreciate someone as great as you." he softly whispered in her ear, her face heated up.

just then, a soft knock from her door made her jump. there were so many possibilities of who it could be, shoto begging on his knees for her to take her back, momo to bitch around and show off how happy she is, a teacher, or who really hoped it would be, katsuki.

she hesitantly stood up and opened the door, smiling at who it was, happily letting him in. "baku, i'm really glad you came because i have something to tell you," [your name] sat down on the bed as bakugou did the same.

"i have something i wanna say too," he admitted and looked down at his lap, his heart thumping loudly in his chest, same with the girl next to him.

"you go first," they both said and chuckled.

"alright, I'll go first," katsuki offered and clenched his fists, taking a deep breath before looking into her bright [your eye color] eyes, "[your name] i-... i'm in love with you... i've been in love with you for the longest time but kept quiet when you started dating that bastard... i know this break up was hard for you and all but... i promise... if you choose me..."

bakugou smiled and moved closer to the girl, cupping her cheek and pulling her into a kiss, a kiss they both longed for, a kiss that would promise they're undying love for each other, a simple but sweet kiss. a kiss that made them smile.
