Taehyung and I thankfully didn't breakup, I was honestly scared to lose him. We decided to lay low though. Even Irene and the others who are not in a relationship are behaving like our parents would want us.

Jisoo's situation was an eye opener for us. As much us we don't like how our parents are pressuring us, we all want to settle down one day and when that day comes, we want to be presentable to our in-laws.

The boys were totally busted about their made up image through the assessments, thankfully though, nancy and her kind didn't find them interesting anymore and moved their tragets to the other boys. The downside, many girls are now bold enough to make a move on them and firt with them and some jerks are being jerks, testing their patience.

We didn't participate to any assessments anymore so we're like the nerds that we are, sitting on the side lines and watched as the activities unfold. There are  couple of times when we almost charged though with the boys being bullied but taehyung assured us they're alright.

The overall ranking came up and we cringed at the results, hating the fact that we're going home for the semestral break, meaning we can't escape our parents' never ending sermon and comparisons. The individual school ranking wasn't any better either.

"Lisa!! Tell your boyfriend to be stupid once in a while." Jennie groaned. Tae totally kicked her out of the tie breaker and took the first spot while she tied with me in the second place

"That would make me such a good girlfriend" I roll my eyes at her and she pouted

"Can't we make up something so we can not go home?" Her shoulders slouched and stared at the school bus with a dread.

"You're blocking the way nerds." I stumbled when nancy passed between jennie and I. We sighed and climbed up the bus without a fuss.

Jisoo and I sat together while chae and jennie sat adjacent to us. We're being cautious to be seen together since our parents might find out and overreact. No wonder swords are called the way it is, cause words can stab you.

Jisoo and yoongi have patched things up, they endure three days with the cool off. Three days full of asking about one another and giving each other longing glances.

Like we expected, our parents were waiting for us at the school. Even if they greeted me with smile and a hug, I can see the we'll talk in the house look.
But we didn't make it to the house and my mom starts her nagging about me still being in the 3rd rank.

"At least I mantained my spot despite the changes of the curriculum." I can't help but say

"and It's nothing to be proud of, let's not even talk about the overall rankings! You must be slacking since we're not around..." I stopped listening then. i know what she's going to say. I could lipsync to her perfectly. Thank goodness for airpods!

"Get down for dinner!" I have to cause if I won't, another round of sermon awaits.

I climbed up to my room and immediately slumped down my bed, if I missed anything here, it would be my room. I hear a tap on my balcony window and I grinned. And ofcourse, with my boyfriend being my neighbor.

I made sure my door's locked and opened for tae. "How was it?" He asked as he let himself in

"Same old, same old." I shrugged and looked up to see a frown on his face

"It's ok, I'm used to it, we're almost there." It will be second semester soon and before you know it, We're leaving for University.

"Why don't you speak up your mind, it's not ok for you to bottle it up." I rolled my eyes. It's one of the frequent topics of our fights.

"And then what? They don't listen tae, besides, I'm not bottling it up. I have you." I say, hugging him, resting my chin on his chest as I look at him.

He nodded saying, "Fine, I'm always here to listen." He tucked my hair and took one of my pods and put it on.

"Play something." I scanned through my smart watch and played us a song. I laughed when the iKON's Bling Bling bursts to our ears and giggled as tae danced to it. My playlist was on shuffle and I clicked next. V's Winter Bear played and I smiled as he starts to sway me, mouthing the lyrics.

We just danced like that for a couple of minutes before I got called for dinner.

"No escaping tonight?" I shook my head no. "We'll be the good kids for the whole break." I say, air quoting the good kids part.

"Just the whole break?" He teased, giving me back my airpod

"For the rest of the school year." He chuckled and hugged me tight but we both jumped in fright when a knock came on my door.

"Lisa! Dinner's waiting." Tae gave me a peck and climbed out my window.  I wonder if his fear of heights is gone,

"I'll be down in a minute." I say through the door and looked back to check on tae. Nope, not gone. He was holding for dear life on my balcony, struggling to put one foot to the tree. I bit my lips as I watch him go back to his balcony.

"Great job babe!" He snapped his head up to me after being hunched up, with his hand over his heart.

"You saw that?" I can see his blush from where I'm standing. I giggled and gave him a flying kiss as I hurried to change into house clothes so they won't wonder what took me so long.

Thankfully I didn't hear anymore nagging from either of my parents but I was bothered with how they're giving each other glances. I put my utensils down and asked, "what is it?"

Dad sighed and answered, "We're going back home." My brows furrowed

"This is home." I say through gritted teeth. I was born and raised in Thailand but we migrated since I was eight because of their work.

"To Thailand I mean. But don't worry, We'll leave after your graduation." I stayed silent. I'll be allowed to live on my own then so I just nodded and excused myself to go to bed.
