Chapter 7

Food scattered as jennie tripped. Laughter filled the cafeteria and I calmed myself as I helped jennie up.

"Oh jennie, I think you need a bigger pair of glasses, I don't think you can see clearly with what you have right now." Nancy snickered.

"Hey nerds." Everyone fell silent as we looked up to V and Kai

"What are you still dling there slow poke?" Kai kicked the tray away from jennie

"Didn't we tell you to hurry up?!" What are they playing?

"Listen up!" Chanyeol's booming echoed through the canteen

"These girls right here are ours to slave. Any one who dares to do dirty tricks on them again will pay. Do you hear me?" He has his arms on rosé's head, who's looking down.

"Follow us." V glared at us and jennie and I scrambled up, making nancy and her friends snicker.

We followed them to an abandoned classroom, it's cleaned up though.

"Eat that. My mom doesn't like it if there's anything left." V tossed his lunchbox on me and the others followed suit.

"Don't you dare leave some." Suga glared and we nodded.

A cloth was suddenly on my head.

"Wear that, the stain disturbs me." They left us, slamming the door shut.

Rosé peeked out and when we made sure no one was there we laughed.

"How thoughtful." Jennie giggled as we opened their lunch

"Those softies." We laughed, knowing all about their pretense.

"We should act our part so we won't get caught and of course to not give them a hard time."

"That giant's hand was shaking as he lead me away." Rosé bursted out laughing

"The way he looked at me when he thought I was about to cry was priceless!"

"You should be careful with your wig though, I thought it was gonna fall off earlier when he put his arms above your head." Rosé had colored her hair back to rose gold

"That was why I had teary eyes, the bobby pins are pulling some of my hair." We laughed.

"But wait, if we're eating their lunch, what are they eating?" I shrugged.

"Someone's enjoying her lunch way too much." We turned to jisoo who is dancing a bit on her seat and smiling as she ate

"It's chikin and my future mother-in-law made it."

"Yah! You are so whipped kim jisoo."

"Oh, he can whip me all he wants." she winked. We hear footsteps.

"You done yet?!" I almost laughed at V's poor attempt to sound stern.

"Done!" Jisoo said all smiley and handing her lunchbox back to yoongi. His face frowned when he saw the squeaky-clean lunchbox though, he almost pouted!

"Class is about to start. Stand up." V kicked my chair and left the rest glared and went out.

Some students looked at us with pity and some of them snickered as we bowed our heads, following the foursome.

The day ended with no more bullying from nancy and her girls. They thought we're being given a hard time by the boys.

Night came and my parents checked in on me. I opened my eyes once the door clicked shut. I peeked on V's window to see if he's awake. Last time I checked, I thought he was, but ended up crossing paths with him.

I got ready and put on my wig. I can't color my hair right because I need to rest it first. It's getting stiff. I listened carefully and watched as his silhouette, lie still on his bed. I carefully trudged my balcony and closed the window.

I jumped on the tree and pasued, cause it rattled, creating noise. Once it was silent, I slid down only to be face to face with the neighbor I've been looking out for.

"What do we have here?" He smiled cheekily. I quickly grabbed his hand, twisted it on his back and pinned him on the tree, making him groan.

"Y-yah!" He grunted..

"You saw nothing." I taunted, and he scoffed.

"I won't blow your cover in school. Don't blow mine. Got it?" I pushed him further

"Oww! Ok, ok!" I let him and he cradled his arm like it's broken.

"You didn't have to be mean!" He pouted. I hear a beep and a light shone through my window. Morse code.

"I gotta get going. No one, not even your friends will know about this. Got it?" I glared and he nodded.

"And stop going in between gangs if can't fight back. Tch." I shook my head and left him.

"What took you so long princess?" I mumbled a reply and hopped on jennie's back.

"We'll be changing schedules." My head snapped to jisoo, startled of what she said

"By schedules, you mean our nightly rendezvous?" My brows furrowed and she nodded

"It's our final year. We need to be cautious." I sighed and slumped on jennie's back.

"So we won't meet up every night now?" Rosé whined

"Not so much, we might only meet on the weekends. We could also use the group study card on our parents. To be able and hang out after classes." Jennie answered

"I'm tired of pretending!" Rosé yelled

"Aren't we all? I just want to put those bullies in their place at school." Jisoo gritted her teeth

"I'm just thankful they're tolerable. If not, I don't think I can hold it in." We silently agreed.

"Good thing they're only elementary level." I chuckled

"Wait, does that mean we won't see seulgi and the others?" I felt sad thinking about it.

"We'll discuss that later with them." We were silent on the way and jisoo and jennie picked up their speed, reaching our destination within record time. Happy there's no patrol.

"What's with the frown?" Irene smiled. We greeted them with a hug and we went inside our meeting place.

"This change sucks." Seulgi laughed

"Why are you all so carefree? You won't miss us?" Rosé pouted and joy hugged her

"Cause we'll be together more often than you think. You're all included on the top 15 of your class rank right?"

"Of course, our parents would flip if we get out of the top 5." Jennie grumbled.

"What about it?" I inquired.

"Triumvirate." My eyes widened.

"No way." Wendy smirked

"Yes way." we squealed.
