Chapter 44

"Guys, can you hear me?" It was wendy. She was left at the security room to be our eyes.

"Yeah." We chorused. Jennie, Jisoo, chaeng and I are approaching from the west while Irene, joy, wendy and seulgi is taking the east side.

"There's a lot of them, but they are scattered so we can do this, however, we must not make any sound and arise suspicion. You have to take care of the guns and make sure they can't shoot and alert their comrades and endanger the hostages."

"Got it, we ransacked the sports club room and borrowed the bow and arrows from the archery club." I informed her

"Cool. You also see what's going on at the site right?"

"Yeah, we're streaming on our phones." The advantage of having all this in live stream.

"Aside from the activity area, there are no cameras rolling outside of it so you guys can move freely." Jennie smirked as she aimed her arrow to the guy nearest to her. She gave a nod, jisoo and I silently moved to the guy's colleagues.

"Ready?" we were all silent, waiting for wendy's signal.

"Go." The guy jennie had locked her eyes on grunted in pain, dropping his gun when she hit him with her perfect aim. Before his friends could react, I quickly grabbed the gun from one and punched him hard on the neck, knocking him unconscious and jisoo swiftly stole the gun of the other and dismantled it in seconds before knocking him off and chaeng quickly tied everyone tightly.

"Irene, two people at three o'clock. Jennie, you guys can to the mall, there's five people scattered there, so far, no movements inside but we can't be too sure." Wendy informs us.

"We can get a lot of stuff in the mall. We need to get in." We only have limited bows and we can't use the guns. We need more ropes to tie those intruders with too, maybe some duct tape and knives.

"We'll take care of the goons here first, we'll be right with you in the mall."

"Copy that." I replied to Yeri.

The parents, teachers, students and everyone watching held their breaths watching every move of those gun men as they threateningly point their loaded guns to their classmates.

It was the final assessment so everyone was gathered in one school, watching the broadcast at one of the biggest school gyms where everyone is present to cheer for their respective schools, but the joyous shouts earlier was replaced with worried buzz and murmurs.

The buses from triumvirate arrived and Irene's mom along with the rest of the girls parents ran towards it but was confused when they can't see their daughters.

"Where's my daughter?!" The East Coast Academy's principal demanded when she can't see Irene. They did not participate with the activities so they shouldn't be held hostage.

"Your daughters went back to the school saying they will take care of it... we already called the police."

"And you let them?! Why would you let them do that?! What power do they have to take care of those, t-those thugs!" Lisa's mom screeched

"We couldn't do anything about it, they practically jumped off the bus while it's still running. We can't risk the other students' safety by going after them. Do you have no idea your daughters are part of a gang?" before any the girls parents could answer, they heard a collective gasp by the students and they all turned to the screen watching everything unfold.

"Don't you dare try kid. One bullet and you're dead." The gunman says as he points the gun to mino when he tried to make a move.

"No matter how good we are at fighting, we can't do anything when we're surrounded by armed men." CL said through gritted teeth, glaring at the masked guy infront of her

"Your parents don't seem to care about you brats, we haven't heard anything from them, let's see the next target shall we?"

"How can they contact you dumbass? You just declared to get what you want in return, in case you don't, know this live stream only works one way." Hayi didn't flinch when the gun was directed at her

"You have until midnight to get us the money or else, prepare these kids' funeral. Oh, and we will shoot on every hour starting with this bitch" Hayi's eyes widened in shock

"Hanbin!" Taehyung and his friends yelled when they saw their friend use his body as a shield, protecting hayi.

"Yah!!" Hayi teared up as hanbin just smiled at her and lost consciousness, his body limping on her arms.

It was then all hell broke lose, unable to forgive what happened to their friend, sungjae lunged at the guy with the gun and they all fought but was futile, they ended up with more bruises and bloodied faces.

"Taehyung!!" Tae's mother screamed when he was about to be shot but a knife pierced through the hand of the guy holding him, squealing in pain as he drops tahyung and his gun

"Who dares try to shoot my boyfriend?" a menacing voice could be heard

"Lisa?" Lisa's parents eyes widened at what they're seeing

"Shit! guys! We need to hurry!!" Seulgi cussed. We heard the gunshot but were too busy with taking care of those guarding outside the activity area to know what's going on.

"It's hanbn. He took a bullet for hayi." We looked at each other with a frown hearing yeri report what happened

"Oh no! Your boyfriends are in danger!" My heart dropped hearing that. Of course! Those idiots even jump in danger to save helpless animals, how much more if it's one of them?

"A single drop of blood from my little meow meow I swear they'll want to bury themselves." Jisoo glares and my jaw clenched. We all raced to the activity area where everyone was held captive

"Don't let your emotions overpower you or we'll all end up dead!" Irene hissed and we hid behind the trees. The combat was conveniently in the woods. We all separated and marked our targets.

I watch as they beat my boyfriend and his friends, fuelling my anger. When I saw one drag taehyung up by his hair, I was livid. Before he can further traumatize my boyfriend by pressing the gun on his temple, I intervened by throwing a knife on his hand

"Who dares try to shoot my boyfriend?" I threateningly say and the idiots immediately repositioned themselves, dropping the boys they've beaten up and pointing their guns out.
