The day after Bakugo was captured, Izuku, Todoroki, Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, and Iida planned to save Bakugo. They asked Chris to come with them...he agreed. He said that he needed to be elsewhere until it was time for the mission.

The same night, the rescue group met at the front of the hospital the students were admitted to. When Chris saw the dot on the tracker Momo made, he told them that he knew the location. The tracker showed the position of a "beacon" Yayorozu created and stuck to a Nomu the villains at the camp used.

Chris "lied" to them and said he needed to keep up his front with his "family." Family meaning the League of Villains. When Chris teleported to the base of the LoV. He saw everyone surrounding Bakugo. The latter saw his classmate among the group of villains.

"What are you doing here, asshat?! Don't tell me that you're a villain. I always knew something was fishy about you. Ever since you only used your teleportation!"

Chris wasn't too surprised that the hothead of Class 1-A remembered the power he showed in the beginning of the year.

"I always loved playing double agent. It's actually better on this side than the heroes' side. Join us. Together, we can make the world much better. We can topple the ones at the top and let the world see what it's really like.

"I know it must have been hard for you. Growing up with a strong quirk gives you many expectations to meet. It must have been so hard that you took it out on Midoriya."

Bakugo was at a loss for words. When he found them again, he was full of rage.

"Did that shitty Deku tell you?! I bet he wanted someone to pity him. You're just going to tell everyone what I've done, right?! Get on with it, then!"

Chris was enjoying having more cards in his hand. Now, he had Bakugo under his grasp. At anytime the latter could be expelled from the top hero school in Japan. That wouldn't be any fun, so he decided it would be a card that would never be played, but it would be shown.

Chris went forward to Bakugo, activating the Emotional Activation in the process.

"Everyone, don't feel anything...or you'll regret it."

After that, Chris's face was blank. It held no emotion. Luckily, everyone did what he said...except for Katsuki. He was feeling one thing, but that was better than the rage he normally felt. When Chris spoke, he sent a chill down Katsuki's spine.

"Where were we?"

Rather than giving a proper answer, Shigaraki spoke up.

"Why have you marked people? You were ruining everything."

"I have not. Bakugo is still captured. You are still alive. The League still exists."

"That's another thing. Where is your base?! You know the location of ours, but we don't know yours."

"All in good time. Dabi, release him. We need his trust if we are to turn him. We must treat him like an equal."

Shigaraki went over to Bakugo when he was freed. The former got an explosion to the face.

"I'm warning you now: my permission to fight hadn't been revoked!"

The villains spent some time talking back and forth between each other until a knock was heard on the door.

"Hello? This is Pizza-La, the Kamino branch? Your pizza's here"

When Reaper heard that, he pulled his cloak on, wearing a mask as well. After he did that, All Might busted through the door with multiple other heroes. Most of the villains were captured by Kamui Wood's Lacquered Chain Prison. The hero's quirk turned his body into wood and let him manipulate it.
