Meeting Mr Adrian Lincoln

It was Monday & Martin told me that we have a business deal with some billionaire from America. I didn't bother to ask him his name since most of his business deals are for California businessman.

I told Martin that I can't join him in his business deal since I need to go for shopping with Laila. But this stubborn Martin is so stubborn that he cancelled all his business deal to go with us.

I cannot let his company face millions of loss due to this stupid shopping. So, I told him that I am coming with him in the meeting and we will go shopping after the meeting.

We both walk towards the meeting room having person conversation. Martin wants to take me to dinner date while I am saying no since I want to have dinner with the family after shopping.

Martin is pleading with his best puppy eyes for me to yes while we reached the meeting room. He walked in front of me and I follow him

'Hello Mr Stain, it was nice to meet with you' some familiar voice said

I didn't realised the voice until I see the man in front of Martin giving me heart-attack. I was frozen by the scene in from of me, I feel like I am left alone in North pole to die in freezing, I cannot think anything in my head and all my past memories flashback.

I feel a sharp pain in my chest and I am sure my eyes are getting dull and dusky because of the tears forming in it. I don't want to show myself weak in front of him so quickly swipe away my tears and stand beside the Martin.

I can see Adrian eyes glued to me as if he has just seen an alien in front of him. His eyes were full of sadness and guilt. I can see him losing some weight and more professional. I cannot read his mind but by the look he is giving me, I am sure he is too having the flashback memories like me.

'Hello Mr Lincoln, Its pleasure to meet with you too. Please meet my girlfriend Kathrine who is my business partner for last 2 years' Martin said

'Your girlfriend? Sorry I didn't get you, you mean your business partner' Adrian said still looking at me hoping Martin won't call me his girlfriend

But Martin Proudly reply 'Yes Mr Lincoln, Kath is my girlfriend and my business partner. We are engaging after 2 days. You know I am the luckiest person to have her'

I can see Adrian eyes filled with tears and sadness but not sure why? He doesn't care for me neither loves me then why it hurts him to know that I am his girlfriend. Stupid Jerk I think myself.

'Hello Miss Kathrine, nice to meet with you' Adrian said stretching his hand to shake

'Hello Mr Adrian, nice to see your business deal' I said ignoring his hand shake with full of hatred.

I just don't want to be in the room as its suffocating me to be with the man who broke my world. I tried to excuse myself but Martin holds my hand not letting me getup.

I told him that I need to get out of this room to go to washroom. I then get up from my seat and head out of the meeting room breathing heavily.

I don't have any idea what they both talk with each other and what kind of business deal is our company doing with that Jerk Company. All I wish is to be vanished from this place.

I walked down the corridor and turn right where there was my office room. I don't want to go into the meeting room to see him so I thought of going to my office room to relax.

As soon as I walked inside my office room, I felt someone following me and next thing I realised a strong pair of hands holding me. I freak out since Martin will never do such nonsense stuffs and about to scream when my mouth was hold with his hands.

Guess what? It's Adrian that jerk whom I was running away. His eyes is asking me so much questions, like why? What? How? But I didn't even dare to look into it otherwise I might fall for his dirty trick.

He then slowly speak up 'Why baby? Why did you do like this to me? Why you run away from me?'

I felt so angry hearing him saying baby to me. He doesn't have any rights to call me baby. Why the hell in the earth he is in my office room? Where is everyone?

I tried pushing him away but no luck. He was stronger than me and pinned me in the glass wall near the window. He slowly remove off his hand away from my mouth then I burst out

'Mr Adrian, please leave me alone. I don't know who you are? And I am not your baby.' I said

'Kath please, just for one time tell me the reason for leaving me behind' he said

'I don't bother to explain my past to any stranger' I said

Adrian started getting angry with his eyes red hearing my reply. I can sense his breathing heavily and shanking his body due to anger.

'Don't you dare test my patience baby, please tell me' he said

'I told you Mr Adrian that I don't want to talk to any stranger' I said

With my reply he punched the window mirror so hardly that the mirror broke into pieces causing him bleed. I can see his bleeding hands and angry face. I feel pain seeing him in pain but I don't want to fall weak.

'Please Mr Adrian, you are hurting yourself. I need to call the first aider' I said

'Don't you, I said don't you just ignore me Kath. How many times I have to tell you that I need the reason behind leaving me' he said angrily raising his voice

I got scared seeing him so angry and bleeding heavily. So in order to stop him losing his temper and stopping his bleeding hand I replied him

'If I ask you what were you doing in France with Jennifer then?' I said raising my voice

This questioned surprise him and dropped his jaw down. He gave me a guilty look and I can see him thinking something in this mind.

I then continue 'I know Mr Adrian what you were doing in France with the only girl you ever loved in your life. You don't have to give me that guilty look'

This sentence widens his eyes more trying to speak but he couldn't speak.

'What happen Mr Adrian? You can't speak now? Does cat caught your tongue? Oh  I know the reason why? It's because you were having fun with your love Jennifer in France while I was worrying and trying to call you every seconds of my life but who cares? Since I was just your next target, isn't it?' I said

Tears slips down his eyes like a running waterfall making him look pathetic but I don't want to hurt myself again.

'You know what Mr Adrian? You lied to me, you break my heart, you broke my trust and at last you dump my love. I just hate you and hate you forever. I don't care whoever you are? How rich you are? All I know is that you are just a cheater, liar and a shitty playful devil.' I said letting my tears fall down

Adrian moved forward to touch me but I backed up so he didn't move.

'Baby, please let me explain. I want you to understand me?' he said

'There is nothing to explain and understand Mr Adrian. There is nothing between you and me, everything ended. You won't ever understand anyone's feeling. You are just a big heartless person. You know what, I hate myself thinking that I had ever loved you as fake Adam. The Adam who was my first love, my life and everything. I believe on him and trust him so much that I even lie to my family for him but you know at last what I got?'

'I was just a target for that Adam who was Actually the Multi-billionaire Mr Adrian. I couldn't believe my friend Erika so I came to meet you in your office but what happened? You know, I was just his another target to get into his pants. It broke me down so much that I couldn't eat and breathe properly.'

'Now I will show you the next thing which I shouldn't be keeping on my phone but you know what? I'll always keep it to remind myself about his cheating and lying. Oh by the way, I forgot to congratulate to you for your engagement with love of your life' I said with anger

With that I grabbed my phone and play the video in front of his face leaving him to watch alone all this pleasure things. I cannot hold anything more than this so quickly run away from my office searching for Martin.
