Long ago, in the year 1430, ruled a Kingdom. Said Kingdom was hidden to most of the world, but still feared by said Solar/Lunar realm. They hid in the shadows, waiting for the dead of Night to hunt their prey, waiting to feed off of the Blood of their Human victims. The Vampires were an intelligent race, indeed. The rulers there, King Cian and Queen Aoibhinn {ee-van or ay-veen} Dracula, helped their subjects feed, hunt, and to stay out of Harm's way. The two created an Army to further secure their Kingdom of Transylvania. A year later, they gave birth to their Male Heir, Vlad Dracula. For years to come, it was just that; Hunt, Feed, stay safe, and Protect their Subjects and Heir. One fateful Night, however, fear arose.

It was the year 1549. The Vampires were doing their Nightly rituals before going out to hunt, when a shriek was heard. Said shriek alarmed the Vampires of danger, so they hid. One of the Vampires went to the castle to inform his rulers. 'I need to hurry!' 'Who knows what will happen?!' The Vampire thought worriedly. Once he flew through a window, Prince Vlad stood in the throne room. Vlad noticed one of the knight's distressed look. "Prince Vlad! We need to leave; The Humans are here!" The Vampire shouted, alarming the King and Queen from across the room. Queen Aoibhinn looked at her Mate worriedly, King Cian returning his Mate's look. The two rushed towards the knight and Vlad, both wielding determined looks. Once they stood side-by-side, Aoibhinn caressed her Son's face. "Vlad, my son, we need you to stay with our subjects. Make sure you - along with them - are safe..." Aoibhinn stated as coolly as she could. Vlad held his Mother's hand, fear evident on his once calm features. "But, what of you and Father...?" Vlad squeaked worriedly. He couldn't stand the thought of losing his parents to Humans. It always scared him, making him more alert. King Cian held his Son in his arms, soothing the young Vampire. "Your Mother and I will save our kingdom and you..." Cian stated seriously. Before Vlad could argue, a shout was heard. "...Come on, men; Put your backs into it!" A Male voice shouted from the doors. Vlad focused on his parents, whom were hugging him. He returned the hug as a single tear escaped his eye. When the three parted, Cian spoke. "If we don't make it - for whatever reason - you have to rule our kingdom... We love you..." Cian stated before kissing his Son's forehead. Vlad squeaked, sadness in his soft voice. Aoibhinn giggled, tears still in her eyes, before kissing her Son's forehead. The knight stood closer to the royals. "Prince Vlad, we must leave..." The knight stated in a saddened manner. Vlad nodded before slowly releasing his parents. Once parted, Vlad and the knight flew through a window, leaving the King and Queen to themselves.

Queen Aoibhinn wiped her eyes before looking at her Mate. King Cian watched the window mournfully. "Will we make it...?" Aoibhinn asked worriedly, barely above a whisper. 'Thud' 'Boom' "Keep going!" A voice shouted again. Cian sighed before holding his Mate close. "I hope we do. Though, these Humans aren't physically strong, they still bare weapons..." Cian stated calmly, protectively holding his Mate even closer. Aoibhinn giggled before a loud 'Bang' broke the silence. 'Tap' 'Tap' 'Tap' Feet were heard, all running towards the throne room. King Cian and Queen Aoibhinn sighed before getting ready. Once the Humans stood in the room, one of them - the leader, the Vampires assumed - stood out more so than the rest. He had Tan Skin, a scar on his right eye, Black Hair, and Grey Eyes. He wore metal armor, matching his eyes and sword. "Well, hello, your majesties..." The man stated, bowing at the royals. King Cian and Queen Aoibhinn returned the bow, shocking most of the Human men there. The leader smirked more. Once they arose, he spoke. "I am Sir Tartarus, Knight of the Eastern part of Romania." Sir Tartarus stated respectfully. King Cian nodded, while Queen Aoibhinn could only watch the other Humans. There were - at most - thirty Human Males, all of which bared weapons, Spears, Knives, Stakes, Pitch Forks, Fire, etc. Queen Aoibhinn held her Mate's hand, in which he gratefully took hers. Once everyone was quiet, Sir Tartarus lifted his sword. "Shall we...?" Sir Tartarus asked coolly, as if his pride spoke for him. King Cian huffed before him and his Mate stood in fighting positions. "We shall, Humans..." The Mates stated in unison. Sir Tartarus smirked before shouting, causing the men behind him to move.
