The Mission to Transylvania

It was a beautiful Autumn afternoon; The birds were singing, very few flowers were still blooming, and the animals were busy with their daily routine. Back to Mount Justice, we see Justice League, Young Justice, and Black Canary. Batman stood next to Wonder Woman, Superman was next to Manhunter, while Flash and Aqualad stood side-by-side. Miss Martian stood next to Superboy, while Robin was next to Kid Flash. Black Canary stood in front of both teams, the computer screen right behind her. "Alright, teams..." Black Canary began softly, gaining everyone's better attention. With a push of a button, the screen showed Joker and Co. She pointed towards said Villain, still keeping focus on her audience. "We have information that Joker and his crew have gone to Transylvania, Romania." Everyone gives confused looks, all except for two. Robin and Kid Flash softly glare at the screen, something Black Canary sees right away. Robin raises his hand, confusing the group. "Hi, why is the Joker and his crewmates in Transylvania? Normally, they would go after Gotham, not a different continent, entirely." Robin stated coolly, attempting to mask his anger. 'Smack' Robin barely flinched to the hard smack on the back of his head. He gingerly holds it, recognizing Superboy's "tap". He bites his tongue, however, to hide his hiss. Black Canary glares at Superboy before facing Robin. "Good question and facts, Robin. However," Black Canary stated before pressing another button, showing a small village. "Judging by the information Batman salvaged, we have reasons to believe the Villains are after one of Transylvania's most dangerous villages for slavery." Black Canary states calmly, barely grimacing at the details. Gasps can be heard, along with short words. Robin and Kid Flash don't respond right away. Miss Martian raises her hand. "Forgive me, but what makes the village so dangerous...?" Miss Martian asked soothingly, hoping to calm her nerves. Black Canary, though most of her attention was on Robin and Kid Flash, pushed another button. The screen switched to two Humanoids - one looking like a human, while the other looked more Bat-like. Everyone - except Robin, Kid Flash, and Batman - wore confused looks. "These people are referred to as, 'Vampires'." Black Canary stated calmly, looking at everyone's reactions. Most were shocked, Batman kept his cool, and Black Canary maintained her grimacing features. Robin and Kid Flash's features turned into a mixture of worry and determination. This confused everyone, unsure of what they were determined about. "Well..." Robin stated numbly, sounding a little eerie. The group fully faced him before another voice chimed in. "Let's get there and stop Joker..." Everyone faced Kid Flash, whose face shown a small glare. Everyone - including Batman - grew slightly worried. Black Canary nodded before facing the screen. "Alright, then; Here is what you will need..."

Later, in the Spacecraft of Justice~

'I don't understand...' Miss Martian thought worriedly. She had grown worried over her two friends - Robin and Kid Flash. Ever since their behavior earlier, she wanted to know what was troubling them. That's proven difficult, however, for she could no longer tap into their minds. This confused her, for she knew she did it before, but it wouldn't work, now. With a sigh, Miss Martian tapped into the other group's minds. {Guys, I can't tap into Robin, nor Kid Flash's minds...} Miss Martian mentally stated. Everyone slowly faced her, worry showing on most. Then, they faced the two males, who's faces shown a new type of calm. These looks didn't look uncomfortable, nor fake, but it looked... mature; As if, they were adults whom were trained into this calm demeanor. Manhunter sighed, gaining everyone else's attention. {Not even I am able to tap into their minds...} Manhunter states worriedly, though his face didn't show it. This worried everyone. No one moved, in fear they may startle the teens. After a brief pause, Superman cleared his throat, earning a knowing look from Batman. "So... Robin," Superman began coolly, earning confused looks. Robin nodded, indicating Superman can continue. Superman grimaced before looking calm. "...What are you thinking about...?" Superman finished innocently, sounding like a toddler with a manly voice. Batman glared at Superman, while everyone else face palmed. Robin, whom was calm during the trip, suddenly glared, lowering his head further. This confused everyone - including Batman. Suddenly, Robin spoke; Only, it sounded dark, eerie, and oddly feminine. "Joker and his 'Proxy' are fools if they think they can go into my people's home and destroy their peace..." Robin stated numbly, a light pink hue in the whites of his mask. Everyone looked on in confusion and worry. Before anyone could ask their questions, Robin continued with the same voice. "Those tyrants will not get away with my people's torture; For if they even dared laying a finger on my people, I will personally chop Joker and his Proxy's heads off before feeding said heads to the Gargoyles upon the Archways of the Village..." Robin stated venomously, still keeping the cold, eerie glare from before. Everyone's eyes widened. No one knew how to react - not even Batman, for he never heard such bitter words fall out of the young boy's mouth. 'If Alfred were here, he wouldn't even begin to think of what to say...' Batman worriedly mused, holding back a grin at the thought.

Suddenly, Robin shook his head, confusing everyone. When he stopped, he sat straight and looked around. Once seeing everyone's expressions, he looked worried. "What's wrong...? Did I say something?" Robin asked worriedly, unaware of his actions. Everyone's eyes went wide, unnerving the teen further. "Actually, Rob," A voice spoke calmly. Everyone - including Robin - faced Kid Flash, whom had been quiet during most of the trip. He leaned against the wall, crossed arms and a calm expression. "They were just shocked on how fast you hacked into Joker's systems, that's all." Kid Flash stated coolly, as if they really were shocked by the coding and not what happened before. It was at this moment where a light bulb shone above Robin's head. "Oh, yeah!" Robin exclaimed excitedly, switching his attention to his wrist. Pressing a few buttons, he easily made it into Joker's system. Superman held back a snicker. Though, it was a bumpy situation, he was still laughing at how much faster Robin is to hacking than Batman was. "Okay, as much fun as it is to hack into their systems, the Joker and Co. really need to upgrade their systems!" Robin stated jokingly, cracking a smirk at the Joker's foolishness. Everyone looked worriedly at Robin. {He's got to be joking, right...? He seriously doesn't remember stating those cruel words?!} Superboy mentally asked, worry and anger evident in his voice. Miss Martian sighed. {I suppose not...} Miss Martian thought weakly, hoping this mission would make something better. Manhunter turned his head towards Kid Flash, seeing something off. {Look at Kid Flash...} Manhunter mentally ordered, scaring everyone. When everyone - having forgotten the second teen for a moment - turned towards Kid Flash, they froze. He was still leaning on the wall, unmoving. He had a neutral look in his Dull Green eyes. This neutral look had no emotion in it; Not even Batman could trace anything. Kid Flash gave everyone a small glare, indicating he doesn't like their staring. The group turned away, leaving a playful Robin and "calm" Kid Flash to their business. Silence consumed the spacecraft, no one daring to break it. Eventually, someone did break the mental silence. {What happened to them...?} The sound of Superman's worried voice broke in, hoping to get an answer. Batman and Flash looked at one another, neither breaking the stare. The two looked to be in a staring contest, neither moving. Eventually, they looked away, shaking their heads. {I... I don't know, Superman...} Flash mentally stated worriedly, a fear of what might happen beginning to swirl in the Adult Speedster's head. Batman sighed, unbeknownst to Robin and Kid Flash. {We'll figure it out, soon enough...} Batman stated reassuringly, gaining small smiles.

Robin snickered, earning confused smiles. Kid Flash stood straight, having felt the new aura. "What's so funny, Robin?" Superboy asked playfully, hiding his worry as best as he could. Robin looked up, having a small smile on his face. "Though the Joker does this all the time, I can't believe he would go after the most dangerous people we know..." Robin stated worriedly, attempting to hide it with a smile. Everyone grew worried before he looked out the front window. "Judging by the scent, we should be there, shortly." Robin stated, turning on a more excited level. Everyone gave him confused looks. Before anyone could ask, he spoke. "Just wait until you see the Blood Lilies! Everyone may think those are extinct, but they only remain in Transylvania, Romania! Ooh~ Have you guys tried the foods there, yet? They are amazing! When we finish today - and if we have time - I want to show you guys everything!" Robin ranted excitedly. He continued to rant about the scenery, foods, people, etc. Smiles, laughs, and jokes were heard in the spacecraft, everything growing positive. During the rest of the ride to Transylvania, that's all it was; Positive. This was what they needed before entering the entrance to the Vampires' Territory.
