I laughed as I tasted the sweet booty the boys had been brewing without my brother's knowledge. It smelt great, of berries and fruits, and the invitation to get really drunk was too hard to turn down.
Mercy and Richard looked very cosy, and may I say that somehow, all the guys in my team reminded me of RM, that leader from the Kpop group I liked listening to.
Wait... What was its name again?
36 hours earlier...
"Carter is so cute," our resident agricultural officer said, making heart eyes at the entire group of soldiers running through our much taller artificial forest.
Our trees were much taller, about five to eight metres tall. A morning run through them, even for fun, somehow invigorated all of us.
At the moment, we were all strolling and pretending to stretch because our men seemed to have a thing for teasing us. We were very healthy straight and bipolar women. It was allowed for us to admire attractive men.
My brother never really took off his shirt. He gave orders, ran beside them, and smiled at me whenever the young men ran past us.
Unless he was eyeing a certain someone.
Today seemed no different, until when we all spotted a familiar looking Asian man jogging with them. Drew was wearing a vest, which was sweaty, and it kind of clung to his body as he jogged with them all.
I turned away as soon as I spotted him, my eyes making four with the anthropologist who came with him. She smiled cheekily and flipped her hair off her face.
"Captain Ryan looks buff. Does he work out daily?"
"Yes," Mercy sighed dreamily, then turned to Richard. "When are you joining them?"
Richard seemed upset at that and made a loud 'hmmph!'
"Richard, please understand, that she likes a guy who works out. Her favourite singer is a gym lover and is literally in the gym everyday. He is also very strong. If you really want to keep her,you need to step up."
"You think I can't keep up?"
"Not since you came to this camp. Nope."
"Do you think you can keep up?" He asked me.
"Dude, my brother is in the frigging army. What makes you think I do not work out?"
Richard eyed my loose attire. I looked at the said outfit and sighed. "Do you really want to see my legendary six pack? Okay. Hold this." I gave him my water bottle then slightly lifted up my T-shirt.
"Strip! Strip! Strip! Strip!" Everyone began chanting. Richard smirked and I sighed before pulling the tee higher. Then, they were all exchanging glances as Mercy and I burst out laughing.
On a piece of paper stuck to my longer sports bra top, I had written, in a marker, 'Jungkook's Abs' and a cute little bunny right below it.
"The fuc-"
Everyone burst out laughing, making Mercy and I skip out of the way and head to the bunkers before people followed to attack us for playing them.
"Do you actually have abs?" Mercy asked and I laughed before lifting my tee and dancing like Jimin in 'Boy in Love' thus exposing my almost flat belly.
"Jiggly jiggly jiggly, jiggly jiggly jiggly!" Mercy sang to the tune of the song and we laughed.

"We did it!"
"What did you do?" I popped up from underneath my now familiar study desk, also my brother's table whenever he came to assemble and disassemble things.
