the cold of nothingness consumed her
until she felt warmth
from the touch of a hand.
there he was, her knight in shining armour
who slayed the beast
and resurrected the man.
her heart burned like an ember
in his embrace
like a flame that had no end.
then he fell with a shatter
out of her grasp
and to the cold she returned with Ben.
