Siddharth was in avneet's arms as they looked at each other, their eyes digging into their souls.... One was getting to see only happiness while the other wondered how unhappy this soul was.... Siddharth was peering into a pair of confused and frightened orbs which had a hidden twinkle while avneet was lost in deep, hazel, happy and excited pools.

Avni, the wolf, whistled.

Bhavesh, the photographer, clicked.

Jai, the possessive brother got annoyed.

Reem, the shipper sister cooed.

And that's all what it took for these two to come out of the trance of each others entire life story they saw through their eyes.

Eyes speak what no words or voices can, indeed.

As soon as Avneet realised what she was doing, she left siddharth's hand and shoulder frightened. Siddharth fell down with a thud. Both of them felt like two perfect jigsaw pieces getting separated just that they were too occupied to realise that.

"ahh ouch" siddharth shrieked rubbing his back.

"i... I.... So... Ss.... So... Sorry" avneet said, super awkward and shit scared as to what will this  famous person of the uni will do to her for leaving him like that.

Siddharth saw her hands trembling and so did the others.

"It's okay don't worry" siddharth said as he smiled at her and got up to his feet.

He was about to put his hand forward so that he could add another friend to his list and life but jai was faster.

"Dii, come with me!" jai said in a pretty loud voice startling avneet and confusing others. He grabbed avneet's hand and dragged her away.

"isko kyaa huaa? Cool dude se seedha angry young man?" bhavesh remarked.

"he's a pretty possessive brother i see...." reem said, clearly impressed.

"Matlab?" Raj being the curious cat and the tubelight asked.

"Aree didn't you see, when some people here were lost in each other, jai was burning seeing his sister like that...." Ashnoor said.

"l.... Lo... Lost in each other matlab?" siddharth said with flushed cheeks.

"Ab mujhe iska matlab samjhana padega?" Ashnoor said 😏

"Noor! Jai ke peeche chal nhi toh pata nahi kya kar dega vo... Please..... Uska bas chale toh vo to avu ke peeche 4 bouncers lagade which is exactly what we don't want.... Ab chal naaa" Anushka said, dragging noor along.

"okay..... Ab mujhe koi ye batayega ye abhi abhi hua kya?" siddharth asked, perplexed by the happenings-mishaps of the past few minutes.

"zyada kuch nahi bas tu gira, ek ladki ne tujhe bachaya, tum dono ki aakhen chaar hui, uske bhai ko gussa aaya, teri behen uske bhai se impress hui aur teri do best friends abhi un dono ko sambhal rahi hain aur important baat ye hai ki us ladki ke haath kaap rahe the? " bhavesh said the last part questioning himself.

"ek minute ek minute......baaki sab baad me, reeee! Tu jai se impress hui?!" reem's brother took over.

"Bhavesh bhaiyaa!" reem shouted. She didn't want to jump to conclusions just yet but the truth was that she was impressed indeed.

"I want answers ree!" siddharth said.

"I. Don't. Know" reem declared. She never liked when her brother talked to her like that, commandingly. She said that and stomped away in the direction the others went.

"but why were her hands trembling?" raj added his question to the heap of questions that had already arised.

"jai bhai uska haat toh chod de!" avni remarked and avu nodded.

"Di, agar aap apni us imaginary friend se hi baatein karte rahoge toh mujhe pata kaise chalega aapko kya chahiye?" jai said, as he dragged avu in an empty room.

"h... Hh.... Hha.. Haath.... Ch.... Ch... Cho... Ch.. Chod de jai" avneet stuttered.

Jai starts rubbing her knuckles which instantly calms her down. She never stuttered while talking to jai. If she was doing so meant that she was too nervous and baffled to talk. So jai started calming her down.

The twins arrived. When they saw jai rubbing avu's hands, they didn't speak anything, gave jai an assuring nod and just stood there until jai stopped.

"Dii you okay?" jai asked, concerned. Avneet nodded.

Anu was about to put a hand on jai's shoulder when she stopped midair. Jai paused looking at the twins. Avu's hand was still near her eyes as she was rubbing them, halfway through. There was a glittery atmosphere. When Ashnoor saw this, she looked at them shocked. What were they doing?! How did they all seem to have..... PAUSED?!

She tried touching anu's midair hand. It didn't budge. Her eyes went on the wristwatch in Anu's hand. The seconds hand had stopped! The wall clock's seconds hand had stopped too! Has the time stopped?

She ran outside to see reem in the corridor with her one leg in the air. How was she even standing like that? She had paused tooo!

Ashnoor went inside and saw nothing had changed but there was a glittery outline around three of them. So was with reem.

"what the...."Ashnoor said...too shocked to absorb the happenings. Suddenly she felt something tickling her fingers. She looked at her hand and saw a tiny little creature sitting on her finger, chilling as if its her backyard. Ashnoor gasped. She knew she had some connection with paranormal things but a fairy? Yep she looked like a 🧚‍♂️ fairy.

"Oh hi! I am Angie! I thought until you'd roam around I'd sit here and chill" Angie said as she licked a tiny ice-cream.

"Wait, is that an ice-cream? Who are youu?" Ashnoor asked, rather amused

" I am Avneet's fairy angel.... And probably both of yours too!" Angie said

"Both of us?"

"Yep! You and your twin" Angie said pointing at anu at the back.

"Okay, so you're telling me you're Angie, you are three of us' fairy angel... Then you could probably tell me that fairyland exists" Ashnoor kinda mocked her.... Not intentionally tho. She was confused.

"Yes ofcourse, that's where i come from! Its called FAIROPIA" Angie said giving an almost shock attack to Ashnoor.

"And you know what! We even have a Magic School Of Fairy Dust.... Believe me, i hate to give exams! Destiny gave all of her exams god knows an eternity earlier and look at me!" Angie ranted.

"What the...." she gulped the remainder words.

Angie flew and came in front of her face.

"Language little girl!" she remarked.
