Ep.2- To Know Who We Are P.2

*midday*

(We see Aaron walking through a field carrying Kagari over his shoulder)

- Kagari: A-Aaron?

- Aaron: oh you're awake.

- Kagari: please put me down. I can walk on my own.

- Aaron: ok...

(Aaron lets his sister down. Kagari keeps her head down. Aaron notices and looks at her)

- Aaron: is something bordering you Kagari?

- Kagari: Dad..... he's also gone isn't he?

- Aaron: I'm afraid that he is. There's just nothing we could've done.

- Kagari: I see...... This is the real world huh? The one you're used to? Cruel, dark and painful.

- Aaron: Our world is rotten to the core.

- Kagari: you might as well leave me behind. I don't belong out here. I'll only hold you back. But you can survive here. You're already used to the pain.

(Aaron kneels before Kagari)

- Aaron: Kagari listen to me. I made a promise to father. I'll keep you safe no matter what. ok? You don't need to worry.

(A tear falls from Kagari's cheek)

- Kagari: thank you, Aaron.

- Aaron: come on. I think there's a river nearby.

(Kagari nods and they both continue to walk. Later they arrive at the river and drink water from it)

- Aaron: Kagari look. There's a village over there.

(He said as he pointed out the village's direction. Kagari sees the village then looks at Aaron and says)

- Kagari: do you think they have food they could spare for us?

- Aaron: there's only one way to know for sure. Let's go, but stay behind me.

- Kagari: okay.

(Aaron and Kagari both approach the village and stay behind one of the houses to scout the area. They see two followers in front of a house speaking with a man)

- Kagari: Aaron, do you think that guys is in danger?

- Aaron: It is likely that he is. Let's get closer and find out what they're talking about.

- Kagari: ok.

(Aaron and Kagari get close enough to hear the conversation)

- Follower 1: we didn't ask you. We gave you an order. Give us your food or you'll have yourself a problem.

- Man: I beg of you please. If I give you what little we have I won't be able to feed my wife and kids.

- Follower 2: I don't think that's our problem.

(A little kid walks up to the man)

- young boy: Dad. What's happening?

(The man looks at his son and fakes a smile)

- Man: don't worry son. Everything's alright just go back with your mother.

- young boy: okay..

(They boy leaves and the man looks back at the followers)

- Man: please we don't have much left.

- follower 2: listen pall we don't give a single damn about your situation.
