Lysithea: So is there anything that interests you other than crests? *annoyed*

Linhardt: Not much particularly. Perhaps the foundations of magic and principles of why not every person learns the same spells. Like how Dorothea uses thunder-based spells and you use dark magic and I use wind magic. Things like that do interest me, but I believe that also ties back to crests.

Remus: I'm interested to hear why on that. Perhaps what crest you have tells you what element you control, and what crest ties back to what ancient dragon of that basic element.

Lysithea: Ancient Dragons? Don't you mean the Lost Children of Sothis?

Remus: I forget that we have different religions and upbringings based on where we come from. In my kingdom we were all Grimleal. I challenged the beliefs of the Grimleal and Nagaism both, and I found my own understanding of what I believed to be true. I believe in the first Dragons, and both Grima and Naga were the two first Dragons. And there were several others as well, dictating strength and magic and Anima. Then they all died by Grima's hand, giving him more power. That meant Naga had to become a Goddess to banish him for s thousand years. She then created humans to adorn the earth. When Grima awoke again, she entrusted the Fire Emblem to the humans to keep Grima at bay. So basically Grima is the god of death, and Naga is the goddess of life. Though most only worship one, I tend to worship both.

Linhardt: I see. So even if you were given proof, you would not devote yourself to the Goddess Sothis because you are already devoted to another pair of deities? How curious. I'd like to visit this kingdom you come from...

Lysithea: As do I! Before you told me that there was an abundance of magic and mages, and most of them are dark mages like me! You also said there are a lot of wyverns and the libraries stretch for miles! And those are just for magic studies! That sounds like heaven!

Remus: *chuckles* you don't want to go to Plegia. It's a desert country. The only thing I was really good for was being a Wyvern Lord and a Sorcerer. Don't ask how I did both, I just did. Neither of you could survive a day in that sort of heat, noting how cold it gets here in Fódlan. But maybe next time I go home I can bring some Plegian books on magic and the Grimleal Torah, uh, the name is Grima's Truth But it's like a Torah so when mentioning the book formally we call it thr Grimleal Torah. I might be able to snag a Book of Naga as well. That might give you some insight to other cultures.

Linhardt: I normally don't find religion intriguing at all, but talking with the pair of you I find myself in a deep discussion about it...

Lysithea: I know! Since Remus became our Professor I've had a lot more intellectual conversations about every little thing! I enjoy it and appreciate it immensely.

Linhardt: That settles it then I suppose. Professor Remus, I want to join the Golden Deer House.

Remus: Consider yourself joined! We'd love to have you Linhardt! But quick thing: drop the whole Professor thing. We're all pretty much the same age so I want you to address me as nonformally as possible.

Linhardt: Noted. And don't get offended if I sleep during a lecture. I get easily bored.

Lysithea: *grumbling* that's an easy statement to get offended of.

Remus: No problem. Group lectures aren't for everyone. My students are always my first priority, so if that way of learning isn't for you I will accommodate. I'm even learning how to speak in then native tongue of Brigid to help Petra for her one on one lessons. I also do weight training with Raphael and Caspar and I do Archery with Ashe, Ignatz, and Claude and-

Lysithea: He does do everything he can to make us happy.

Linhardt: Then perfect. Starting today I am a Golden Deer. Now please, Remus, tell me more about life in this place called Plegia.
