Vic POV
"Let's see...mini first aid kit, flash light, radio walkie talkies, batteries, energy bars, spear glasses what else am I missing here..." Vic scratches his thick black har in packing his stuff for school, more like for the apocalypse.
"Oh hey there, I'm Vic, and as you can read, I'm busy packing my essential needs for the first day to Seabrook, it's quite a lot I know, but I'd rather have all this and not need it than need it and not have it at all."
"You'd think after years of living in peace and absolute safety from the zombie outbreak would somehow make everyone at ease, well ya wrong I'm not nor have been able to, come to terms with being feeling absolutely secure."
"I'm-Wah!"
The teen trips on a pile of comic books on the floor and land on his face flat, some of his hair got in the way he scrambled around for his thick retro glasses and found it.
"See what I mean fuuh! I'm a walking paranoid disaster, it's not enough that I'm a reject at school but also as a human." lifting himself off the ground he made his way to the windows.
Thrusting his chin to the view not so far beyond the barrier. "See that?"
"That's zombie town down there just a barrier away, my folks are hippies the neutral kind which means we aren't that usual seen in social scenes because they don't often believe zombies are all terrible, me and my family are all we got when you live in the not so fabulous rough part of Seabrook, just living with the walking undead makes me scared."
Vic sat on his mildly tacky looking computer chair which he likes to call his throne of ultimate geek lord, and clicked on the mouse reveling on the screen tons of info about zombies.
"I've seen every zombie based movie video games known to humans and trust me it doesn't end pretty, which is why I'm always on my toes ready to keep my sibs safe including myself."
"In any case I got this." He reached in his book bag and got a small lighter.
"The town decided to let zombies go to school with us normal kids and call me chicken which yes I am, ain't no way I'm putting my guard down now."
Vic pulled on his Seabrook jacket and checked his appearance in the mirror on his drawer and smiled to himself, he spun about a few times and his feet were moving on their own accord.
"Though, when I'm not feeling scared or treated like a nobody I have another hobby."
Jumping to his feet he made a smooth slide to the hallway and dabs his arm back and forth down the staircase then took off his glasses for a second before he flipped the last half of it down landing on one feet and high kicked the other and making a cheer pose he casually put his thicc spec's back on.
"Ha...ha...I...may have a passion for dancing and cheering, although I could never join the cheerleaders in the field, without anyone laughing at me, plus the cheerleader captain who happens to be Bucky has high standards too."
"Vic! Catch!" A football was thrown straight to his direction marking a touch down to the poor guys stomach.
"Gahh!" He gets the lights knocked out of him as he lands on his butt from the impact, he looks at his best friend who's just as happy to see him."That's the worst way to catch a ball mate, next time use your hands instead of your stomach Vicente."
"Y-yeah thanks for the advice Becks."
She removed the football from Vic but it was snatched from her by a bigger pair of hands. "Don't touch my ball!"Slowly recovering he made his way to the kitchen after his older brother Ivan, sat back to his seat eating the bacon and eggs in one bite in a hurry, and his younger sister was giggling while watching Ivan making funny faces as he ate.
