Chapter 12 : Word Of Advice

Vic POV

Walking to the bathroom to wash his face Ivan comes outta nowhere then shoved pass his younger brother to get to the bathroom first, Vics glasses fell off and he couldn't see anything he grabs on the walls and called after.

"Your such a jerk Ivan!" All he could do was to feel around the ground.

You'd think after the football team won game after game he'd somehow change his attitude towards me, guess that's not a complete package his still Ivan.

Yvonne peeks from her own room while she was playing tea party with her dolls "Vicky why are you on the floor?" She comes closer to him.

Vic smiled to the sound of his younger sisters voice "My glasses, Ivan pushed me could you help me find them?"

"Sure! Anything for Vicky!"

Yvonne looks around and spots them to the edge of the staircase she goes to pick it up dragging her long blue dress she was holding her doll in her other hand and reaching for it the dress trips her footing as she got it, Yvonnes nice dress gets caught in the staircase railing as she's on the edge of falling.

"Vicky!"

Vic hears her small yep of help as Yvonne was losing balance, his sugar brown eyes manifest to focus on his sister until he saw her outline in full detail, this strong adrenaline surges Vic immediately throughout his body, he shoot up and moved to catch her in time, his pulls her close as they fall back to the floor he breath in and out as his brain tried to process what on earth just happened to him.

What.....exactly was that?

"What's going on out there?" Ivan opens the bathroom door to see his siblings laying around the hallway.

Vic responded. "Nothing, nothing."

"You alright princess?" Ivan picks her off the ground and helps Vic to his feet. "Ivvy big brother Vicky got me!"

"Really he did? How?"

"He used his superpowers! Like superman! And flew to catch me!"

Superpowers?

Later at Seabrook high...

"You take the sum total of that and just multiply it to get the answer."

Inside the schools library Zack points to the problem on the textbook while Becky was trying to figure it for herself, he noticed Lizzy has been keeping distance of him after what happened in the haunted house, she wasn't avoiding Vic but it was obvious she was now extra cautious around him, on the bright side the football teams got another game today this afternoon, they're on a roll winning over the other high schools and they all would watch it together to support their friend Zed and his brother Ivan.

Vic bundled his courage to make small talk. "Hey Lizzy, um do you think after the game we could hang out?"

She swiped some of her dark green hair to look at him. "I don't think it's a really good time, we uh...have plans."

"Okay, okay I was just wondering." He didn't anticipated she would turn him down right away he felt embarrassed.

Maybe I should just give her more time though I have to let Lizzy know I don't blame her for what happened, she doesn't deserves to feel this way...

Afternoon came and the two zombies go to the bleachers to watch as Becky was called in to help around again for the reason Bucky needed their water and towel girl present, Vic on the other hand had to get dressed in the lockers because the team was winning continuously, he was requested to make an appearance of every game people gotta have the Mighty Shrimp.
