Chapter 17 : Homecoming Zombie Disaster

Becky POV

When the afternoon rolled on Vic had to show up early to the boys locker room to get ready, Becky was ordered to come by the cheerleaders stands to hand towels and water bottles again, she whine before running to Buckys side, as for the two zombie twins they would watch the football game in the bleachers with other students.

"Who's your date for homecoming?" Some girls were chatting in the hall.

Good lord spare me from all this fuss over having a date for homecoming, it's not even a requirement yet most think it is, I don't need a date to go there, and Vic is out of the question...

She wished he wasn't and like always they'd go together as best friends and make up names for how ridiculously built the football players were, Becky is gonna have to deal with being solo it's not her fault her buddy falls for a zombie girl though she shares blame.

Nothing pretty is going to come from me saying my feelings for Vic now, and it's probably smarter to keep things the way they are, I just can't...

Becky walked in the field stands and saw Bucky arms crossed, his I'm-the-captain-so-do-whatever-I-say mug on as she likes to refer when his nostrils  holes grow, he was busy with telling the team after homecoming they will focus on the cheer state competition.

"Alright let's get this show running." Bucky blew his pink whistle loudly.

Vic was standing in the side near the bleacher occasionally doing energetic poses to engage the audience as the game began, the announcer greets the players each by their name and jersey numbers and of course they saved the the teams star for last, Zed emerged.

I still can't believe nobody has noticed what that zombie Zed is doing in order to win for the entire school, it's just me and Sir Know-it-All, now I passed my exams why am I still keeping this from Bucky, Addison might already know...

Her cousin has been trusting Becky to slip her letter to Zeds locker because the Aceys have been guarding on her  24/7, she does it for Addison because the zombie guy makes her very happy and if Becky could lend a hand for someone else's happiness she'd do it, though she also doesn't trust Zed all too much because of how her brother has pictured zombies to his sister.

And the game started with the crowd excited to see who comes on the top victorious, full way through the game the scores plied high for the Shrimps, they only had little time to finish off this homecoming game and Becky was breaking serious sweat from running around giving everyone towels and water even when it wasn't time out she'd be ready, suddenly the trio of stuck ups as Becky labeled the Aceys signals to Bucky and he nodded a smile rising from his captain mood.

Bucky wouldn't smile like that unless he won an Oscar for being a jerk, and my older brother smiling in the finals of this game as if he saw himself in the mirror Is a bad omen, what's he up to...

The three immediately left the stands and Bucky called other cheerleaders to replace them, Becky becoming very suspicious of the Aceys decided to kick the box of water bottles under the back benches and called to Bucky.

"Hey Buck! We're outta water bottles I'll just go grab another box okay!"

She shouts over the noisy cheering of both the audience and cheerleaders he shoos her away and Becky ran to the side, she swiftly ducks backwards when the two Lacey and Tracey were standing there about while Stacey was sitting down on a bench, she couldn't make out what she was doing until the two turned around and Becky got a better view of it, she was messing  with a laptop, not just any random laptop one that looks like it belongs to a zombie, Becky heard Stacey state.
