Chapter 11 : Fearing The Fearless

Lizzy POV

Becky laughed. "You got the wrong idea here lady we aren't going out."

Vic waved his hands around. "Oh no we're just friends...normal friends."

Zack seemed upset. "We're siblings b-"

"Yes, we're siblings ma'am." Lizzy  covered her twins mouth to shut it.

"Oh I'm sorry my mistake, you seemed like a cute double date group." The lady elaborated to the four teenagers.

Becky raised her hand. "If any chance what were you giving away to us?"

She replied. "Our management is giving away free passes to the new haunted house exhibition for everyone to try out, we'd prefer to have people come in together or in groups because it gets really scary."

"We'll take four passes please!" Becky lands her arm on the counter and grins at the woman, she loved hunted houses and couldn't pass the chance.

"But I thought you guys weren't-"

"Yeah because you asked me and my best friend over there, his with miss yuppie and I'm with the beanbag hat."

Huh? Miss yuppie and beanbag hat? Ahaha that's funny, it was nice of her to get us the passes even though we aren't really on a double date, still it's nice to imagine Vic and...me? Nah.

"Oh...okay um, here you are enjoy the movie and exhibition." She hands the passes as the four of them moved on.

"Thank you." Becky had other plans in mind after they all watch the movie.

They found their way around the dark cinema room then seated themselves as much as Lizzy wanted to be beside Vic the two girls were seat together close instead while the boys were at both ends, Becky was being caring in her own way as she asked if Lizzy was scared or couldn't handle the movie they could always leave, she took it as the girls friendly gesture immediately.

"This movie is so awesome, If it were 3D the ghouls could actually touch us." Becky comments in a small whisper.

Lizzy smiled to her. "Don't worry, I'll hold your hand and protect you if any ghouls try to get my friends."

It was partly dim but Becky kinda saw through Lizzys grey irises flash this amber lights in them for a split second and felt something wrap around her arm, it was Lizzys hand making soothing motions with her fingers this alarms Becky because she wanted to yell and yank her arm away from the zombie girl, after all she's still a monster under the disguise, but new emotions were replacing her fears it was abnormal, to feel this sensation of security and belonging around someone other than Vic.

I'm so glad Becky finally seems like she's opening up to me I was afraid she hated me and Zack but she wouldn't help get those passes if she didn't want to spend more time with us she's such a great friend to have Vics lucky.

The movie was getting intense as the main protagonists entered what she believes to be her father's murderer, the house of the ghouls and manage to get inside, Zack was pissed off at this point and saying it out loud.

"Who the fudge does this? I wouldn't go around the house I think might have my father's killer inside it." Zack murmurs in displeasure with the plot.

Vic wasn't too chatty as his teeth was chattering to the suspense. "Get out of there girl they could be hiding behin-"

"BAAARRRHHHH!!!" A ghoul tries to grab the girl by her neck and missed.

"AAAHHHHHH!" Becky screamed.
