I'm pretty sure it's unique to our high school but our grades are sorted by a letter system. Seniors are A and freshman are D respectable. It's easier with the combined learning program. The policy started when the tension between seniors and juniors was rising so they thought this would help...

Luke scoffs before walking away but all I can think about is the boy next to me. Henry's face is completely frozen. It's so weird to see him not talking or being a Henry.

"Come on don't look so down!"💎

All he does is nod. I can tell he is dying on the inside. Damn, why did it have to be Luke?

"Um this might be prying a little but why does Henry look so upset?"🌙✨

The words just can't come out of my mouth. Not like I had any idea what I was going to say. Arthur caught on and decided not to dwell on it.

Henry raises hand and Luke too!!! Oh nooooooooooooooooooo! Should I panic or better yet jump out the window! Wait how would that benefit Henry in any way!!

I lied, it's not going to be fine. My heart is beating at a hundred miles an hour. Why did he agree? Why didn't he get someone else to be his partner? I hate this.

He smirked. I really want to wipe the floor with his face. I look over to Felix awkwardly exchanging phone numbers with Arthur. What an idiot, I laugh at my own thoughts.

He puts his lips to my ear. I jump and turn around in an instant. Why did he always have to do things like that?

"How does a demon like you know Arthur?"🚬

It's been too long since I have heard his laugh. A very long time.

"I thought with how obsessed with me you would know. He is my brother."🦋

Those were the only words I could get out of my mouth. Dammit, how are those two even related? Jesus, it's not like it changes much.

His presence turned from composed to terrifying really quick.

I growled back. He is so annoying sometimes. It's not like I can even tell him why I can't go. That would be a disaster.

Is he pouting!? I almost let out a whole ass chortle but I held it in. Why does he do this to me? I can feel my whole face turn red. This isn't fair. As I contemplate my life choices I feel a tap on my shoulder.
