Chapter 5: A friend

SM BUILDING

∞ 3rd Person ∞

"How are you feeling Kyungie?" Baekhyun asked Kyungsoo early in the morning.

"It still swells but it's better now compared to last days. Oh! I need to cook breakfast." He hurriedly went to the living room finding out the other members who were already sitted beside the table.

"Oh hyung. Come join us!" Sehun invited him to seat.

"Were you shocked right?Me and Chen prepared our breakfast." Chanyeol said with a proud smile.

"Yah!It's been 4 days that you were not able to eat with us because of your swollen foot. So that's why we gave you a surprise." Baekhyun said while putting his arm on Kyungsoo's shoulders.

"We cooked spaghetti. I hope it tastes like yours." Suho proudly showed the cooked spaghetti. Kyungsoo went into his seat between Sehun and Baekhyun.

"Palli! Taste it.." Luhan who's so excited to eat the spaghetti. He gave Kyungsoo a fork.
Kyungsoo took a small amount of spaghetti and tasted it.

"How was it hyung?" Kai asked.

"Does it taste awful? Chen has no idea of your way of cooking." Xiumin who picks a fork and took an amount of spaghetti.

"Lay hyung, give me some fork. I want to taste to." Tao commanded Lay.
Lay was about to get a fork but then Chen stopped them.

"Ya! Kyungsoo was not able to rate the taste yet. You can have it later." Chen acts like he was the owner of the spaghetti.

After Kyungsoo ate a lot of spaghetti, he drank a glass of water and said.
"It's tasty but a little bit salty. However, I still like it." Showing his heart-shaped smile.

"Yeah! We know... You ate a lot of it. How can the 10 of us eat this?" Suho pointing to the small amount of spaghetti.

Everyone's blaming Kyungsoo. They keep on teasing and nagging him.

"Arasseo.. I'll cook another." Kyungsoo who went to the kitchen.

"I guess there's just one snag. We don't have any pasta anymore..We used it all when we cooked this morning. It took a lot of cooking to come up with this one." Chanyeol said in a poker face.

"Aissh nevermind. I'll just go to the groceries and buy some." Kyungsoo said.

"Can you walk well now?"Kai said while eating a small amount of spaghetti.

"Yes, I can." Kyungsoo smiled.
"I'll go with you. I need to buy some eyeliner remover." Baekhyun walks towards Kyungsoo..

The two of them went outside while the others are still fighting for the remaining amount of spaghetti. Why did Chen and Chanyeol cooked spaghetti only? HEHEHEHE.

◆ On the way to the groceries.. ◆

∞ Baekyun ∞

I intended to go with him not just because I want to buy something, though I forgot my wallet, but I want to ask him even more about the girl he was dreaming of. We were not able to talk about it because of busy schedules.
Now I have the time to ask him..

"Baekhyunah.. what do you want to buy?" Crap! He's getting into me.

"Ahmm nothing. I just want to be with you." I just smiled thinking what to say next.

"I knew it." He knew?

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you say you're gonna buy some eyeliner remover when you already bought five pieces of it last week? You are not using one of them until now, aren't you?" Five pieces? When exactly did I buy those? Aissh nevermind.. He knew.

He found out that I was lying. He's really smart.

"Mianhae Dyodyo.. I just really want to ask you about the girl you dreamed about." Scratching at the back of my head hoping that he won't get mad.

"It's nothing Baekhyunah. There's nothing I can do to remember it." He glance at every vehicle he sees.

"Maybe you can find something in your house that will surely help you." I suggested. I think that would help.

"I have no house to return to. So, let's just forget about it Baekhyunah" He changed the topic of our conversation. He is so sensitive about his home. I can still remember the time he told me about his family.

"Okay then, let's get moving. Hungry wolves are waiting inside our dorm." I changed the mood of our conversation. I understand you Kyungsoo-ah.. but I hope you'll find yourself thinking about the people you once knew.

We went back into the dorm and started cooking spaghetti. Everyone's helping except for Tao and Lay who love sleeping too much.

I and Kyungsoo had lots of practice on our singing part. Kyungsoo's vocal is not in good condition since he's been in to colds but I managed to help him. Chen and Luhan never failed to support him.

During our dance rehearsals, he cannot completely do the routine because his foot keeps on hurting. So he sat at the back giving his foot a break.

Poor Dyodyo. I hope he'll be fine when the concert comes. It's three days from now and we have to leave for New York tomorrow.

My friend needs some comfort. I'll give him comfort.
