Chapter 53: Danger!

"Wait.. wait.. you've got the wrong tune Suho-ssi.." I called Suho-ssi who was not able to sing a part of the song correctly.

"I'm sorry Lyn-ssi.. This is actually D.O's part." He reasoned out.

I looked around.

I have Baekhyun-ssi, Suho-ssi, Chen-ssi, Xiumin-ssi and Lay-ssi in front of me.. Vocal Line.

However, D.O was not around. I almost forgot that he was still recovering from his fever.

I remembered the last time I stayed beside him.. holding his hand.

"I hope he'll be fine.. We'll have a performance by next week.." Lay said.

"It's difficult to sing without our main vocal." Chen added.

"I'm sure he'll be okay after a day. His health is important. Good thing KYM allowed him to rest.. Of course he should. Mr. President is here.." Baek ended their conversation.

"Lyn-ssi.. Are you alright?"  Xiumin-ssi got my attention.

"Yah... I am.Ahmm Is Mr. Lee Soo Man here?" I asked for confirmation.

"Yeah.. he's here."  Xiumin-ssi answered.

Just then a knock came in, and the door opened.

"Hey guys.. sorry to interrupt but Hana noona's calling us.. Mr. Lee Soo Man would like to see us..EXO only." Kai announced.

The boys went out and walked straight to the CEO's office.

I went to the oppposite direction, to look for a place to seat on.

I texted Namji who was in the staff room collecting and organizing records with Baechun.

As I was texting, I saw D.O coming..

He looked at me and I gave a tiny smile.

I wanted to talk to him, ask him how he have been.. hoping he would stop by me.

But..

He just passed by .. without saying anything.

I was left frozen.

'Why is he ignoring me? Did I do something wrong? D.O-ya.. Why are you doing this to me?'

I looked at his back while walking.

Sadness filled within my body.

Just then someone showed a cup of coffee in front of me.

"A cup of coffee for a workaholic person like you. Please stay here while waiting for us."  It was Chanyeol handing me a coffee then he left.

I turned around and walked towards the main entrance.

I textes my father.

'I have to do this.'

Message:

Meet me at Moonbucks coffee near SME. I need to talk to you. Just talk.

I breathed deeply.

I was almost in the main door when someone stood in front of me.

"You really think D.O oppa liked you. Hell No!! He's ignoring you so stay away from him." Hwangjae blocked my way.
