Chapter 11: Fears

I find myself lying inside a large white room filled with white curtains, tanks and a lot more.. Oh! Probably I'm in a hospital room.. What did happen?

I see a silhouette behind the door. A vision of a skinny guy enters the room and walks towards me..

"Dyo.." It's Baek.. I open my eyes widely to recognize him clearly.

"You're awake now. You've been sleeping for 12 hours.. I'll call the doctor.." He immediately went to the door but I let out a word from my dry lips.

"Baek.. What happened? The concert?" I spoke in a slow pace and tried to get up.

"You passed out in our concert. The doctor should check you up.. Just a moment.. I'll call the doctor." He hurriedly went outside.

I passed out? I can't remember what happened before that.. Blurry memories are the only things I could picture out.

Just then, I hear heavy steps in the corridor. The New Yorker doctor goes inside as well as some nurses. I can see Baek and Suho hyung from afar and behind the door are other member's worried faces.

"Check the vital signs.." The doctor commanded the tanned nurse.

"Normal" As the nurse gave a word, I can hear loud sighs from my co-members. And so does I. I am relieved.

"Can I go home now Doc?(in english)" I tried to sit erect but Suho hyung came near pushing me carefully back to bed.

"I'm afraid you have to stay here for a few hours Mr. Do. We still need to check your progress. Do not worry, you have your friends here." The New Yorker doctor spoke in slang English yet understandable by me. He took a glimpse over Baek and Suho hyung whose faces are full of awe (because of the doctor's accent).

I am now in my bad state face. The doctor and some nurses went outside letting the others to get in who ran mischievously towards me.

"Dyo.. Are you fine now..Can you recognize me?" Of course Channie.. don't be so dumb, I'm not like Lay hyung who tends to forget things.

"Did you lost your memories D.O? That's unfortunate." Shaking his head, he told those words.. Yes Lay hyung.. you are unfortunate. ﹋o﹋

"Is this the same as in the movies where the protagonist forgets his memories? This is exciting!" Second placer Dumb Chen claps his hands while saying the last word.

"Yahhh. He doesn't have an amnesia. You fools!" That's right genious Umin hyung.. "He has a short term memory gap." Yeah kind of..

"Amnesia?" Maknaes Tao and Sehun asked in unison.

"Yes, a medical term." Umin hyung who looks fairly serious.

"So that's what you get from watching dramas everynight, right Umin?" Luhan who's standing by Umin hyung having his arms crossed.

"Stop it guys.. let's hear Kyungsoo hyung first. Arasseo?" Kai broke the noise. I appreciate your effort Kai.
