The night fell just a few hours ago, Blood flies through the air with his formed blood wings. In his arms he carries Tiger in a loose grip around his upper chest. Both of them had recently been battered, not to mention they lost Cheetah in the battle. The usual white car that passed the station all the time, it came with a white BL van and opened fire on them while they were recruiting. They had no choice but to fight back. And when the fight was over, they were the only two to make it out alive or uncaptured, "Well, I guess we'll be going to the headquarters?", Tiger asks. During the whole ride, neither of them spoke until now. It had not been exactly silent, though. "Yes, of course. We have to warn the others before something terrible happens.", Blood says in a bland tone, spotting the headquarters in the distance. The still night seems to bring on a new fear as Blood places Tiger down and lands next to him, the killjoy car right in front of them with blood, dead bodies, and bullet holes surrounding it. "What the h--- happened here...", Blood mumbles, striding over and recovering his brother mask. Tiger spots both Jet's and Ghoul's guns, as well as the other masks that littered the ground, "I don't know, but we might be too late to warn everyone.", "I only see 3 masks here and I'm sure whatever they fought they killed. Look at all the bodies. Someone's gotta be at the headquarters if they aren't on the battlefield.", "Maybe you're right.", "Yeah...I hope my brother's ok...". Somberly, Blood makes his way to the house, Tiger tagging along behind him. The house has some bullet holes in the side and even one of the windows is shattered. Blood sprints to the front door and easily opens it since it hadn't closed in the first place. The place was found to be empty as he searched it franticlly, yelling out his brother's name multiple times as he searched from room to room. Tiger waltzes in and takes a look around, "Well...it looks like maybe we are too late...". Suddenly he's yanked up and flown through the door, Blood holding him by his arm in flight. "Blood! Calm down! What the f--- are you doing?!", Tiger shouts out in surprise, the wind gently hitting his face as Blood quickly accelerates. When he gets no response, he sighs and watches the ground quickly go by without his feet even moving. The world moves by faster as Blood quickens his pace, flying a little higher than he had before, "Blood! Put me down and explain what the h--- you're panicking me into!". Still, the other is silent and surprisingly serene as he flies in the dim moonlight. Despite every urge he had to jump down from Blood's grasp, he lets himself get taken by the mysterious and wistful killjoy. If he could say the truth, he enjoyed Blood's company more than his playful twin's. And he slowly realizes where they're going as he thinks, "Blood we can't go there! None of the killjoys go there ever, Poison said so! We'll be killed!", "Guess we gotta die then.", "Are you crazy?!", "Obviously.". What laid before them was Battery City, a 4 foot wall of steel surrounding it. As usual, the city is solitary and quiet, no matter how large it is. Blood lands right in the outskirts of the city past the wall. The wall itself wasn't for protection exactly, it had been there for many, many years and most of it was rusted away of knocked over. Blood releases Tiger's arm, "There's no other place they could have gone, I just know they were captured.". "How do you know they didn't leave when they were attacked?", Tiger pulls his mask down over his face, preparing to fight it there's a need. Blood flips his mask on as well, he then starts walking toward the city, "Ghoul and Jet would never leave their masks or guns behind like that. I know them, they wouldn't do that.". Tiger sighs and follows him, "Hey, mind if I ask why you and Ghoul have those uh...tattoos? I know it's just random to ask that at a time like this but, Ghoul once said you got them together, and I was wondering why.". "It is to symbolize how close we are, even if we're different. Plus I gotta admit, it was pretty fun to get one with him.", Blood smiles a bit, but it's hidden by his mask. The memory of his brother and himself getting those tattoos was clear in his mind. Ghoul talked the whole time about his other many tattoos, and that he had thought of getting one with all the killjoys if he could. It more than likely wouldn't happen, since the others weren't fond of having tattoos like Ghoul was. All though, Blood didn't really want to have one he did it anyways. He was happy with it, as long as it made his brother happy. As they get closer to the city, a few citizens start to notice them. It wasn't a surprise that the city was empty at this time of night. "D---, people are weird here...", Tiger mumbles, "Why do you think it's so deserted here?". "The B.L.I. made a schedule for when people can be out, like ya know, a curfew of sorts. We gotta be alert cause there's BL units that walk the streets to ensure people don't walk them at night.", Blood responds in a hushed voice, walking beside Tiger as his wings disform. Tiger looks over at him, "How do you know that?", "It's in the daily paper that Jet and Poison usually read to find out information on current events.", "Wow really?", "Yep, curfew here is 5 am to 10 pm. After that you aren't allowed to leave your house, I suppose.". The city suddenly filled with the noise of a siren, and a small unit of 5 BL workers rushed over to Blood and Tiger. "Sh--! We gotta get outta here!", Tiger grabs Blood's arm and pulls him into an alleyway. Blood just follows him and looks back at their pursuers, blasting them with a large amount of blood before being yanked up. Astoundingly, Tiger managed to find a fire escape and he now ran up on it as if it were just a normal path in a forest, pulling Blood with him. "Where are we going? Don't we need to leave the city now that they know we're here?", Blood says trying to stop the freight train pulling him. Tiger pulls Blood up all the way to the top of the roof and seems a bit out of breath, "Just cause we ain't got no weapons doesn't mean we can't stay. And didn't you say earlier that 'We gotta die then'?". Blood dusts himself off a bit, "I was joking. And I didn't actually think you'd want to stay. I could fight these guys all night but that's cause I have powers. You don't even have a weapon.". The sirens stop, and Tiger sits on the edge of the roof, "Whoever said you needed weapons to fight those dumba--es is more stupid then the B.L.I. themselves.". "I never said you couldn't, Tiger. I'm just saying that you could get hurt fighting like that.", Blood's voice sharpens with emotionlessness, his eyes dulling a bit as he watches the BL workers down below searching for them. Although, they watched where the two killjoys went, they were searching the area elsewhere. It was more than likely to trick them, or the simple fact that Blood blasted them and knocked out their small brains. Tiger leaps off the ledge and onto the roof's ground, effortlessly standing and staring at a door on the other roof beside the one he and Blood stood on. "Hey Blood. Maybe we can sneak in over there?", Tiger says as he points to the other roof. Blood looks over and sighs, "I'm pretty sure there's at least 2 or three guards in each building to 'assure' the citizens 'safety'. I don't think people realize how idiotic this government really is. Plus even if we go over there, what's the chance of us not running into another BL unit of dodos? Especially since they know we're here?", he looks over at Tiger kinda sadly, as he always does. Tiger just rolls his eyes, "You think of something then. Geez, I'd much rather work with Cheetah than you...", "Which is one reason you aren't at the hideout.", "F--- off...". Silently, Blood forms an orb of Blood and throws it on the street below near a building's door on the opposite side. The workers spot the blood after a few minutes and immediately assume the two went in, they storm the building and Blood watches not even the slightest bit amused. While he watches, Tiger hops over to the next building. "Hey Blood! Check it out!", he shouts over to Blood with a smile, walking to the door as he does so. The other killjoy's head turns and his eyes look over, "Tiger, don't be a dumba--. Get back over here before you get caught.", "Nope. I'm going to see if you're brother might be inside.", "What the...ugh...why do I even bother..". Blood turns away, somberly sighing and forming his wings again. "This is gonna be h---.", he mumbles as he flies up and swoops down over Tiger, grabbing him and flying over the street. As soon as they get over the street, a few bullets unexpectedly fly at them and in a flash they both fall on the ground. Tiger quickly gets up, having only a few scratches. A team of workers were just a few yards away, and Blood seemed to be injured. "Blood! Blood we gotta go!", Tiger yells running to Blood's side. The wings disoriented and start to turn blackish where he was shot in them, as well as where he was shot on his lower leg. Blood's mask had flown off in the fall, it laid near him broken. "T-Tiger..leave m-me and go find the others. They poisoned those bullets with s-something and it's severely affecting me!", he gets up on his hands and knees, puking up blackish blood. Tiger's face washes over with a horrified look, "Blood we can't separate! I can't...I can't find them by myself!". A soft growling noise escapes from the Blood as he stands up trembling a bit, black blood leaking from his mouth, eyes, and even his nose. "Blood? Are you...is something wrong?", Tiger says as he backs away, seeing the BL workers just feet away. Blood turns toward him, "G-Go please...I-I have a feeling they've...d-done something really bad to me.", his voice shakes and he seems to somehow be losing control of himself. It was as if something else was taking over his mind, the blood dripping down his face turns completely black. Unusually, the BL workers stop and watch from a few feet away. Another growl comes from Blood as he fights whatever is clamping his thoughts in it's dark clutches, doubling over and holding his head. "It h-hurts...", Blood whines out, slowly losing the fight within his mind as his knees hit the ground once again. Tiger stands there unable to do anything but watch, darkness seemed to be consuming his fellow Killjoy and he had no idea how he was gonna stop it, "Blood...Blood just stay strong! I'll think of something!". On the other hand, the workers wait to see what will happen. They also waited to see if they needed to immediately kill the two killjoys, all of them waiting for a signal to allow them to open fire on the two. Though Tiger doesn't understand why they aren't attacking, but he doesn't really care. Cautiously, he makes his way over to Blood. Blood looks up at him, his right eye being pure deep red with a blackened pupil. He pukes up more black blood, falling over making tiny whining noises as he breathes, "P-Please...leave while you can.". "I have to help you...I can't leave you like this.", Tiger says picking Blood up and running down the street. The workers suddenly attack and start to shoot at them, merely missing as Tiger makes it to the steel wall, "Don't worry Blood, we'll get out of this!". But, things weren't as good as he thought and Blood just lost his battle. Blood snarls and bites Tiger in his neck and tries to escape out of his grasp, causing Tiger to yelp a bit and fall over. He crawls onto him and bites his shoulder, growling loudly as if he were some mutant animals. Tiger tries to push him off but he fails to, the BL workers walking over and watching the fight. With a rapid twist of his head, Blood yanks Tiger's shoulder upwards. The yank knocks his shoulder out of place, making it limp and worthless to use. Tiger tries again to push Blood off and this time he succeeds by kicking him. He stands up, looking down at Blood who returns the look with a growl as. "Blood, dude...you need to take control back.", Tiger grasps his out of place shoulder and quickly pops it back in, yelping a bit. While he sits there distracted by Blood, the workers call for backup. Blood attacks Tiger once again and holds him down on the ground, snarling with his demonic eye set in Tiger's determined ones as he tears off Tiger's mask. "Snap out of it Blood! This isn't you!", Tiger shouts, trying to escape. But after a few seconds Blood is lifted off of him and tied down by some much more powerful B.L.I., they put a muzzle on him as well as a straight jacket to keep him from attacking again. Then a few of the others take Tiger in their clutches, both of the killjoys join them in a B.L.I. van. Both are set on opposite sides of each other in the truck, Blood being chained a bit, two on his muzzle connecting to the seat he's in. Both killjoys were covered in blood, mostly it was Blood's since he had it dripping everywhere. "Blood...what the h--- is going on with you?", Tiger asks after the van starts to move. Blood looks at him with wildness in his eyes, growling a bit as he shifts forward. He couldn't move far though, since he was strained by the chains. Tiger just looks at him without fear, "Blood, you gotta come over this. You're acting like a beast!". Blood snarls at him a bit and blood drips on his clothes from his face, his eyes, nose and mouth still leak of the black blood. The truck stops suddenly the B.L.I. in the front get out and walk to the back, taking Tiger and Blood into BL industries. The halls were dim, only a light every 10 feet it seemed. As they are lead down the hallway, Tiger catches a glimpse of a poster with all the 4 killjoys on it, below two more were added. Star and Blood's was hung below the pictures and something was written on the poster. But he went by too quick to read what it said. Blood violently struggles halfway down the hallway, knocking over one of the workers holding him and howling like a vicious wolf. Though he's quickly put down on the floor by the other BL worker who was holding him. The worker ties a few more chains on him before letting him get up again. They're lead to a room and Blood is walked in first, the chains are removed off him but the muzzle and straight jacket stay on. After a few workers walk out with the chains, they shove Tiger in and lock the door when it shuts. Tiger's heart seems to skip a beat as he stares dead into Blood's eyes. He was now trapped in the room with the newly savaged killjoy, locked in a glare with him. Blood suddenly falls over, groaning in pain. Tiger goes over to him cautiously, "Blood...are you back?". He kneels down on the floor, looking down at Blood. "I'm so s-sorry...I-I couldn't control myself..", Blood whimpers slightly and sits up. Tiger sits a few feet away from him, forgetting about the bites he had in him and focusing on his friend, "It's ok. All we need to worry about now is to try and find a way out of here..."
