This will basically be a visual randomness book. Mostly fandom, but there will be other content (occasionally). I always have something to say about an image, and usually have a story for every detail of a drawing. I also sometimes have full oneshot...
So, today is Magnus Chase's birthday, and naturally, as a Serious Magnus Chase Stan I had to celebrate in his honor. Today is also the ninth anniversary of his death, but I'm gonna be positive and say his death is the start to a new life. He would probably detest the sappy positivity, and we love him for it, but nothing is stopping me. I am giving my son the recognition he deserves on this special day.
In honor of this, I let my perfectionism take over. Everything is as perfect and balanced as I could get it. I even did slight photo effects to compliment the colors and mood of the piece. Oh my gods that sounded extra. But hey, I am nothing if not extra.

It's supposed to symbolize his personal growth over the course of the series, going from a sad and bitter character who conceals difficult emotions in a shell of snark and bravado, to letting himself be helped by others through issues he wasn't able to deal with on his own. He has a good heart, and he learns to share it, and to use it to help those he cares about. He remains our snarky king, but he's not as biting, or bitter. I just wanted to show the warmness in his heart showing through, while also tying back to his Frey powers.
