They're fresh out of college, at a party being thrown by some of Annabeth's new mortal friends. Percy's shirt is so small because it's from an Argo ll demigods reunion where Leo and Percy bet against Piper that someone would get shitfaced. It was close, but Piper won. The thing being bet? If Percy and Leo lose, they swap shirts. So Percy got Leo's shirt, and Leo got Percy's shirt.
So Annabeth was like "let's go to this party" and Percy was like "I don't w a n n a" and it went like that for a while and Annabeth ultimately got frustrated and just drug him and he didn't get a chance to change so he's wearing a shirt 2 sizes too small and has yet to brush his hair today.

Oh, and it's connected to Love Day bc these two are peak in love and they're finally happy and together in this picture.

1) had to go back the Percabeth roots my doods. You drool in your sleep. I might do a comparison of this one and the original one I did (spoiler alert: this one's better). I pulled out my best cursive.
2) okay so I was trying to erase my pencil and thought 3 minutes was long enough for the ink to dry but apparently it needed like 20 so yeah that's the smudging. If you can't read it, it says "happy valentine's day from ya fav 💘 goddess". Btw I based this off of statues of Aphrodite.
