A/N: I know I have another story but I just wanted to get this storyline out there too. Thank you for stopping by! :D
Yeji's Perspective
Hwang Yeji was precisely 15 minutes early to her student council meeting. She sat down in one of the classroom chairs nearby the window that looked into the field. Reaching into her blazer pocket to grab her phone, she read '7:15.' She didn't mind, after all, it was really peaceful watching all the different sports teams exercise before school started. She would've been one of them, but her coach told her that morning practice was cancelled. Nevertheless, after school practice will still be in session. She watches a couple student athletes, and a particular pink haired one, run around the track as she thinks about the drills she'll have to make her team do later today. 'Hmm maybe a couple of laps around the gym... just a couple... like 7?' She thinks before someone barges into the room.
"Gooood morning!" A blonde haired girl walks into the student council classroom, followed by another girl with long and straight black hair.
"Good morning Yuna, Lia," Yeji greets the two coming inside.
"You're pretty early today, President. No practice?" Lia the treasurer asks as she settles her bag on a desk.
"Nope. Only after school practice today. That reminds me, Yuna, coach said that she might move you up to varsity from jv. She'll be evaluating you on a few other practices to see your skills," Yeji tells the freshmen representative.
"Ohhh! Really?! Alright! I'll put 115% instead of 110% in my next practices!" Yuna exclaims with her fist punched into the air.
They all giggle at the blonde's excitement and energy as the rest of the student body come in the room. The room quickly gets noisy as the fellow classmates and friends converse about their summer vacation. Yuqi, the Vice President, took it upon herself to bring them to attention.
"Ahem, attention! This meeting will now start. Miss President, would you do the honor? Soobin, please start the recording now," Yuqi states with a clap of her hands.
Soobin the secretary replies with a dimple smile and a thumbs up as he presses 'record' on his camera.
"Alright! Welcome back to school everyone! I hope you all had an amazing summer vacation," Yeji cheerfully says as many of the students murmur about their summer, "anyhow, it's time for the new semester which means new events and competitions!"
Several students cheered and hollered like Chaeryeong, the junior representative, and others looked down thinking about the stress of handling those events and competitions. Yeji waited for everyone to settle down before she moved on.
"Now then, how about we brain storm some ideas for the school year?" Yeji excitedly says as she whips out a whiteboard marker and lists down all the exclaims coming from every corner of the room.
————————————————————————
"Meeting adjourned!" Yeji says as she takes a quick picture of the long list on the whiteboard. The students in the room chatter to each other as they shuffle out of the classroom. The only ones left inside were Yeji, Lia, and Yuna.
"Bye guys! I don't wanna be late to my first class of high school. I'm so excited!" Yuna gleefully says as she skips out of the classroom.
Lia and Yeji wave goodbye as they finish packing their bags. They walked side by side as they exit the council room. As her fellow senior bestie and classmate, the both of them usually walk together to their classes. Thankfully, they had all the same classes except for their last period, which for Yeji is volleyball, and for Lia is design. They stroll into their first class English, and Yeji sits down on the desk beside the windows, with Lia sitting on the desk beside her. Hoping to catch a certain pink haired junior rushing to her class, Yeji looked out the window into the field. She spots her immediately, running with her duffel bag around her shoulders and waving to her best friend, Chaeryeong, who was yelling at her to hurry up. Yeji giggles, remembering that this situation happened for the past two years.
