Y/N POV
It's been a couple weeks since we started getting trained by The Wanderer, he didn't want people to know the wanderer had a nephew.
It was exactly 4 weeks and we all have grown a lot. We all got better with and without our weapons, when we heard, "You might be ready to go face the cave." We were ecstatic. He had shown us the way a couple of times. When we were all ready to go in he just looked at us with a smile and waved goodbye. I swear I saw sadness in his eyes.I had heard a crack above us and punched and pushed my teammates out before getting hit with rocks. That should've been the end for me, but I remembered my family. I remembered Ozpin, my father and my siblings. I was furious and started pushing on the rocks that I was under so they would topple off of me. I took a good look at the cave thinking 'Wow that's beautiful'. (The picture above, but there's no sunlight)
Lapis POV
We finally made it to the cave, when suddenly I felt a sudden force that pushed Cole, Dan and me back. But there was no Y/N.
"Where is he?! Damnit! I just knew it would be like this!" We heard The Wanderer scream in anger and sadness. I felt three taps on the ground through the rubble that fell on us.
"Hey, uh, I think he's alive... and he told us to get out of here." Cole understood what I said, while Dan and The Wanderer, we called him TW for short, looked at us confused.
"You remember the day we left Beacon, Dan? You remember that piece of paper he gave to me?"
Suddenly, Dan remembered, "But why would he use it? Why not scream or push the rocks out of the way?" Dan actually said something with logic behind it for once.
"Because once you're in, you can't get out without the ring. Not even sound can get out. He's probably going to starve before he gets out, so he's already dead. You kids gotta leave now." We understood why TW wanted us gone, he was a walking Grimm beacon. He had so much negativity that Grimm would go towards him. We said our goodbyes and hoped we would see Y/N again.Y/N POV
Timeskip 2 days
Damn, I am starving and I am thirsty! I did pack some water, but not food. Dan had all the food. Oh, I think I see a dead body with things on it! I hope I am lucky. I then notice something beeping in my pocket and pull out a scroll. It says:
To my favourite pet! I hope you're still alive and I hope we can 'play' again. But where is your team? Didn't you have one? I heard that you had a grudge against one of us, and I do hope that you won't discover this until quite some time in the future. Nobody's missing you.
From your lovable owner,
OliviaI brake that scroll with my hands and think, how long did I have that? My rage grew stronger and stronger. I tried calming myself by pretending to beat her up in my head. I brake a couple rocks before heading over to the body again. I do notice some food and water, but not much. Possibly enough to get me through 2 days.
"WHERE THE HELL IS THIS RING!?!?!?" I shout as loud as I can.
"Over here," A ghostly voice said, "and do not be so rude." The voice sounded rough, like what you'd expect to be an old blacksmith. You head into the direction you heard the voice and noticed an even bigger cavern. 'Can I just never find anything that I'm actually trying to find?' I swear that it wasn't there before. There was a ring floating on a pedestal. I took it and noticed that it was, indeed, the ring. I start crying until I heard a noise and see some big Grimm coming out of a trapdoor. I put on the ring and start running away, while occasionally looking back to see that the crowd was growing. "You need to run faster than that! Please, I do not want those damn Grimm to have me!"
"What do you think I'm doing!? You think I would want to die!?" I angerly say to the voice, wherever it was and continued running.I notice that the entrance was actually opened and ran for it. I finally escaped that damn cave and got out to the desert! YAY!
"So, we're finally out, huh? Well, good job Wearer." I froze at that and looked for the voice. "Down on your hand! The ring!" You were shocked that it could speak, but tried asking a few questions.
"What are you?" I ask the ring for which it glows once.
"I am the ring of knowledge, don't get me confused with the Lamp of Knowledge, because that is something entirely different. I can answer 5 questions per day and speak giving incredibly annoying advice once those 5 questions are answered. Or you could just ask for some advice. And only one person per Millennium can wield me." I am getting really confused at this ring.
"I would want some advice on what to do," I say while out of breath. "If you would so kind as to give me an answer."A glow with a different colour appears and the ring says, "Find your friends, find the next and end her." Some silence happened and then the ring talks again saying, "Sorry, what did I say? I don't know what I say after I glow, but whatever it was, we should probably do it."
"Okay, I am going to ask a question."
"Geez, kid. you don't have to say you are going to ask a question. Only when you want advice." I ignore that and ask my question.
"Are my sister or her friends in a 100 metres from here?" Please, say no.
The glow happens and the voice answers with a, "Yes, but they don't know where we are. This one is free advice; we should leave."
"I was going to do that anyway." I mutter that at the ring and started walking into a sandstorm.
