Amy's pov

I take the mask with me and rush to the steps, it sounds like they are under the steps. I look down at the mask, I wonder what other walls are really doors? It didn't take long pushing on the walls for one to open. I took the hidden stairs down to a vent that lets me see what is going on.

"Oh please. Mark, all of your thoughts are wrong. What really makes you think that I killed her?" Maca asked. He was sitting at the desk.

"You have that. We both know she was wearing it at the last dance. Did she hurt your feelings when she rejected your advantages for a drink?" Mark's voice is strong and deep.

I went to look back at Maca but my heart stopped when I saw that Maca had my black glass mask in his hands! How the fuck did he get that?

"Looks like my mask didn't do a good job." He stiffen up.

"Answer my question, Amy and her crew died in a fire. They found her body, everything went in flames. How did you get your hands on her mask?"

I was able to see a vein starting to pop out of Mark's forehead.

"I don't have to answer to you!" He got up and headed to the door.

Mark pressed a button under his desk, as soon as Maca pulled on the door, he found out that Mark locked it.

"Maca, you know how I feel about hurting people who are not able to defend themselves." Mark stood up, "Did you set the fire that killed Amy?" His voice went cold.

"No."

"Then how do you have her mask?"

"She gave it to me."

Mark started to laugh, he sounded like he was on laughing gas, but then he stopped suddenly glaring at Maca.

"Don't bullshit me." Mark growled.

"She did! After you left her at the dance she came over to me. We danced for a little then she gave it to me and she ran off."

Mark nodded his head walking around his desk. He reached the top of his desk and pressed a button.

"Agh!" Maca fell to his knees.

"Why do you enjoy lying to me?" Mark walked up to him. "I know for a fact that after I left her, she stormed out of the dance and went home."

"How do you know that?" Maca stood back up.

"I watched her, I confused her and she had some wine. I wanted to make sure that she got home safe. Once I saw her walk in her house, I went home."

"You stalked her?"

Mark looked away, embarrassed, but then stared back at Maca.

"I did it to keep her safe. I knew what you pigs would do once you saw a beautiful young lady who had a little too much wine alone. Since we all had masks on, she had no clue who anyone was, all you asses had to do was take advantage of her and you would hold it over her head. I know you enjoy doing that. Just ask Allison."

"You can't prove that was me!"

"I will take her word for it any day!"

"Open this door!"

"You are in my house! You will NOT order me around!"

"I already told you that I don't want the deal!"

"Fuck the deal, I want the mask."

"Awe, did your heart break when you found out she was dead? Did the big bad Mark cry?" Maca was laughing. "How about this, it was me. I went into her house, I stole the mask then set the place on fire. And no one stopped me because her team is all on my side! No one knows for sure what room she locked herself in, but the fire was pretty to watch."
