I arrived to Bridal Salon with my Katz, my mom, and her grandparents since she's marrying my brother Kyle. I told him, I would go since I am the only sister-in-law she's gonna have and I'm also in the wedding.
"Hello, Katherine?" someone asked. "That's me," Katz said. "Hi. Katherine, I'm Libby and I'm your consultant, who do you have with you today?" Libby asked.
"I have my grandparents; Leroy and Mettie, my future mother-in-law Lissa and my future sister-in-law; Nita," Katz said. "Welcome. So your parents couldn't make it?" Libby asked. "No, my grandparents raised after my mother passed away overseas in battle," Katz said.
"Oh my. Was she in the military?" Libby asked. "She was. National Guard. While she was there, there was an explosion and she was killed afterwards. She came home in a body body. We end up adopting Katherine as our daughter," Mettie said.
"Aww, how sweet," Libby said. "My mom wasn't just my mom, she was my hero," Katz said. "I have a feeling she's looking down at you. So where is the wedding located?" Libby asked.
"Chicago, Illinois. At the Chez. Our colors are black and white. The grooms will wear tuxs but with converse and my maids are wearing black as well," Katz said.
"So who's the lucky man?" Libby asked. "His name is Kyle Marsden. We known each other since high school. He was the star quarterback in high school and college. I was a Mathlete and cheerleader. He just graduated college with a Masters Degree in Social Work," she said.
"That's awesome. So what are we looking for in a dress?" Libby asked. "I have one dress in mind and it's this dress," Katz showed Libby. "We actually have that dress," Libby said. "Awesome. I have this black sash that will go on my waist. My mom wore it to the military ball," Katz said, showing the sash.

"Okay, would you like to come to the back and I will bring some dresses including your dream dress," Libby said. Katz and Libby went to the back to try them on.
I checked my phone going off. I turned it off and put it away. "Who was the calling?" my mom asked. "No one. Its a blocked number," I said. "Okay but thank for putting your phone away," she said. I sighed.
Katz came out with her dream dress on. "Oh my gosh, Katherine that's so you," Mettie said. "Ohh," my mom said. "Katz that is gorgeous! My brother's gonna love you in this," I said, smiling. Katz stood on the stepping stool.
