I HAVE RETURNED WITH MORE REVALI! I HOPE YOU ALL WILL ENJOY!

[Your POV]
All my life, I've been a slave to the Yiga Clan. When I was younger, I was searching for food, finding a bunch of bananas. I was almost killed, but one swordsman took pity on me and suggested I be used for work instead. I've always despised the Yiga Clan for this, but at the same time, I was grateful for not killing me on the spot all those years ago.
But tonight was the night that I made my grand escape. I packed as many mighty bananas as I could in my backpack and quietly made my way through the maze that was the Yiga Clan hideout. I climbed on top of the stone pillars, avoiding the bladesmen standing guard. When I would make a sound, I'd quickly drop the bananas down, distracting them. Hehe, such idiots. As much as I insult the Yiga Clan, I was quite terrified. If I was caught, they'll probably kill me. As of recently, I've apparently become...useless. If I had stayed in my cell that night, I probably would've been killed in my sleep.
After jumping from pillar to pillar, I hurried towards the exit. The moon shined through the hole in the ground. I picked up the pace, scurrying up the wall. Just as my hand reached fresh air, a horn blared through the hideout. I gripped the sand, trying desperately to pull myself out. After getting my whole body out of the Yiga Clan hideout, I bolted in the other direction, towards a wide expand of desert.
"STOP THEM!" I heard Yiga Clan soldiers shout. Due to being a slave for the clan for so long, I learned a whole lot of skills, but I also gained much trauma. Those scars from their whips and knives will never go away. All those memories of being pushed around will never leave.
I initially thought the sand would slow me down, but it didn't actually do much to decrease my speed. I continued running until I caught sight of something. A village! A town! I would be safe! But just as the thought came to mind, I heard the familiar sound of a swordsman appearing from thin air. "Stand down!" He yelled, drawing back an arrow.
But at that moment, sand filled the air. I shut my eyes tight, throwing my hands up in front of my face. It must be a sandstorm or something! I looked back. The swordsman was no longer in sight, but I could still hear his laughter. I continued forward, hoping to find the village.
Three orange lights appeared in the sand surrounding me. I quickly ducked, dodging three arrows. Even more laughter filled the air. Tears filled my eyes as I ran towards the one area where I hadn't seen an orange light. The laughter continued, but no more arrows were shot. They're taunting me...just like when I was little. I began hyperventilating, accidentally taking in some sand. I was scared to cough it up. If the Yiga Clan didn't know where I was, then coughing would definitely give it away.
Suddenly...the laughing stopped. There were grunts and noises that sounded like metal on metal. Three orange lights flashed again and everything went silent. A monster? I did hear that lizalfos' did live here in the desert. But...they couldn't possibly spot me, right? Unless they did before the sandstorm started...and they were surrounding me...slowly closing in on me... This was the end! My legs froze to the ground and I was unable to move. I placed my hands on my head, curling into a ball on the ground. This is how I die! Stranded in a sandstorm, only barely seeing the moon for the first time in over ten years.
My feet were no longer touching the sand. Wait...am I...floating? I was being pulled upwards by some kind of wind. Like an updraft. But where was it coming from? I suddenly shot up, into the sky. "AHHH!" I screamed, waving my hands around. I was pulled up so high, I was above the sandstorm. I looked up to see an anthro bird at the top of the updraft. It stopped and he dove down, catching me on his back as I began plummeting down to the desert below. I gripped the feathers tightly, squeezing my legs around his torso. "Calm down. You may suffocate me if you try squeezing any harder." He said. His words made no impact and I continued doing what I was doing. We landed near a building with horses, shopkeepers, and firepits. He stood upright on the ground, waiting for me to let go. When I didn't, he used his feathery fingers to loosen my hands and legs and set me down on the ground next to him. "God, am I really that irresistible?"
"I'm...sorry..." I mumbled, shaking with fear. "I'm just...scared..."
"I can see that." He said, looking me up and down. "You were being chased by the Yiga Clan. I saved your life."
"Thank you..." I said.
"Revali. Please, call me Revali, dear." He said, looking down at me. "Where are you from?"
"Um...I don't remember." I said. He raised a brow. "I was held hostage and used as a slave by the Yiga Clan for over ten years. I don't know what came before that."
"Oh..." Revali said, his cockiness toning down, seeming kinda guilty. "Well, I, Revali, Rito Champion, am here to help you."
"You...are?" I asked. He nodded and wrapped a wing around me. He led me to the firepit and opened a small package on his belt, pulling out different kinds of fruits. He set them down next to the fire. In a matter of minutes, they were cooked. Or baked, however you see it.
"Here." Revali handed me the baked apple. I showed down on it while it was still warm. "If you wouldn't mind it, I would love to help you search for a clue to your previous life."
"You would do that for me? But..." I looked him up and down. "...you seem really important."
"Oh believe me, I am." He said, his cockiness returning. "But, you know, being a Champion and get admittedly boring sometimes and I am looking for new ways to test my skills and push my limits. I also find you quite...interesting, to say the least."
"Hehe, thank you. That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me." I said with a smile, tears still streaming down my cheeks.
"But...that comment wasn't even really that-" He started, but stopped himself short. He didn't seem to know what else to say. "Well...I wish to help you, because that's what a Champion does. And also, you know, I'm just the greatest person." I giggled and he smiled at me. Thank you for making me smile, Revali...

HEYA! So, I was watching the last few episodes of My Hero Academia, and the whole thing about Eri finally smiling really got to me and I wanted to do something a BIT similar. It wasn't as good, but, ya know, yeeeeeEEET! See you next time!
