"And this is your room." I continue showing Draco around Grimwald Place and the boy seems to be very confused.
"Why are you insisting I stay here?" He asks again.
"Because your house burnt down."
"Did you miss the part where I told you I started the fire?"
"No, and we can talk about your pyromaniac tendencies tomorrow. I'm tired and I want to go to bed." I sass.
"Do I need to remind you who I am?" He tries again exasperated.
"You are Draco Lucius Malfoy, Slytherin, ex death eater, my enemy. Did I miss anything?"
"Quite a bit actually but how did you know my middle name?"
"I figured since your dad was so arrogant he most likely named you after him." I shrug.
"Oh." He says. He looks around awkwardly and I head towards the door. "Hey, Potter?" He calls.
"Hmm?" I turn around and look at him. He is fiddling with the hem of his sweater.
"Thank you."
"I think my ears have failed me. What did you say?" I cup my ear and drift closer to him.
"Shut up, Potter. You heard me." He blushes and I can see him biting his lip to hide a smile.
"I know. I just wanted to hear it again." I shrug.
"And you call my father arrogant." He mutters and I chuckle.
"Night, Malfoy," I call to him and enter my room across the hall.
"Harry!" I hear a yell as I wake up. Light shines from behind my curtains. Did I sleep through the night?
"Harry!" Another voice calls. I open my door at the same time as Draco.
"What in the bloody hell? Don't you people sleep?" He rubs his eyes sleepily and a yawn escapes from him. His pajama pants hang low in his hips and his shirt seems to be missing. Ron and Hermione are looking between us in shock.
"What?" Ron's mouth opens and closes like a blubbering fish and that is the only coherent word he manages.
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask them.
"We uh... we came here to get away from his sister. She's already started with the practice stuff." Hermione explains slowly.
"What is he doing here?" Ron scowls at Draco.
"Nice to see you too, Weasel." Draco scoffs.
"He's staying here until we go back to school," I tell them.
"How long?" Hermione asks me.
"Last night was the first night. Malfoy Manor burnt down." I explain.
"Bathroom?" Draco says softly to me. His hair is sticking up in every direction and I have to stifle a laugh.
"Down there." I point to a door down the hall and he grabs his shirt from off the floor and goes to the bathroom.
"What the hell, Harry?" Ron whisper shouts to me.
"He doesn't have anywhere to live. He's been sleeping in Hogwarts." I tell him.
"And what about when we are out of school? Will you two just cohabitate like some happy gay couple?" Ron spits.
"Ronald!" Hermione snaps at him and he backs down only slightly.
"I don't know, ok? I just wanted to help. We'll figure the rest out later." I say, shooing them downstairs to the living room. I put on tea for all of us but by the time Draco comes down, his is cold.
