"I know the groom isn't really supposed to get the other groom a wedding present, but I did get you something," I tell Draco on our honeymoon. Our wedding was yesterday and it was beautiful. It was quaint with mainly Hogwarts students and some teachers we were close with seeing as neither of us really have families. All of the Weasley's came and Hermione brought her parents. I invited the Dursleys but they didn't respond. Vernon more than likely kept them from coming. I think Aunt Petunia might have made an effort o come but I know he wouldn't have allowed it. Draco and I are currently laying on the beach of a small island. Very few people are here considering it's not really a place to live at and more of a vacation spot. It's beautiful now, though. Warm out and the sky is clear. I can hear the waves crash against the shore. Draco looks stunning under the moonlight illuminating his pale skin. His eyes shine bright.
"You didn't have to, Harry. You're all I need. And anyway, I didn't get you anything." He blushes.
"That's ok. You are all I need too but I think you'll like this." I reach into the beach bag I brought down here and pull out the book. He looks at it confused until he opens it to the first page. Ass he flips through it, his eyes become damp with tears that fall down like rain on the sand.
"It's beautiful, Harry. I love it." He cries into my hair as he hugs me.
"Wait, there is one more thing I'd like to talk to you about." I pull free of him and look him in the eyes. "I'd like you to become joint parents with me to Teddy. And If you'll have me, I'd like to adopt Scorpius as mine too." I confess to him and a smile breaks out on his face.
"I would love that, Harry. Scorpius loves you and I love Teddy. They will be our sons." He agrees and it's my turn to embrace him. Happiness fills me as I think about the future. I will always have a family, now. I don't have to be alone, anymore.
Dumbledore would be proud of both of us.
