I Feel a Storm Coming... (a Final Fantasy fan fiction)

Chapter 7

*Tifa POV*

After I had a long talk with Cloud, we settled it. Our current relationship is over, and I didn't cry. Cloud said he might love Lightning, but he promises to stay with us for Denzel and Marlene. Then I heard a sudden scream for help. I rushed outside, and Lightning was pinned to the by some weirdo. "Get off Lightning, freaky pervert!" I yelled at him, tugging on my gloves.

He snickered, then put his hand right above her chest. What a pervert! I ran towards him and threw a fist. It was stupid and reckless, because the freak grabbed my hand and flipped me over. "I can't let you mess this up!" He yelled, then a portal opened up beneath them.

The two fell through, and I shouted for Cloud. Luckily, he came out in time. "She went through this!" I yelled, pointing at the portal. Cloud nodded his head and jumped through. Now all I could do was leave this in his hands.

*Lightning POV* (Location unknown)

I opened my eyes a little, and I was floating in nothing but darkness. What had happened to me? Was my physical body; my real body, alright? Too many questions floated through my brain. Then I heard the voice.

"Lightning?" It called out. The voice sounded like Serah's. My head boiled with pain, then I saw it. An arm reaching out towards me. Then many arms reached out.

To my surprise, it was all of my friends. Some of my close friends, some just people I met and got along with. "Wake upppp, silly!" Vanille laughed. I smiled, then reached out at the hands. We moved closer together. Soon, when we were close enough, I grabbed Serah's hand. "Come back home, Lightning. Please."

When I awoke, I sat up with a sudden burst of pain. "Sis?" Snow asked. They were back. I had regained all of my memories. Then I looked over at Snow and scolded, "I'm not your sister." Everybody laughed and hugged me. My eyes darted left and right, looking for Hope.

"Where's Hope?" I asked. Everybody suddenly got silent, then Fang walked up beside the bed. "He went to a mental hospital, luv," she said in an Australian accent. "Chaos traveled to his mind, and he had to be taken care of." I nodded, not arguing with them. I had just woken up and I didn't feel like arguing.

And then I realized what I was wearing. All I was wearing was underwear, a bra, and a nice dress shirt. I felt my face burn, so I covered up under the sheets. "Lightning?" I heard Serah curiously ask, then lift the sheets. "Whatcha doin'?"

Before I explained, she realized the situation, then cleared the room of all the guests. Serah left as well, and I was alone. Well, not for long. My door opened before I got out of bed, so I pulled the sheets up again. It was to,my surprise to see Cloud standing there.

"What are you doing here, Cloud?!" I yelled, my face burning bright red. He looked over at me, and he wore a worried face. "Lightning! I've been looking for you for at least a month now!" Cloud exclaimed, hugging me. A month?! "What are you talking about, Cloud?" I asked, pushing him back.

"Exactly what I said! When 4K forced you to open that portal, I went chasing after you," he explained, blushing. Now why was the fool blushing? It doesn't matter right now. I reached out my left hand and pulled him by his shirt, making our faces only inches away. "What about Tifa and the kids?!" I exclaimed.

Before Cloud could answer, Snow walked in on us. "Uh... I guess I'll leave you two alone..." he said, starting to close the door. That's when I lost it. I reached over to a pair of pants on the desk beside me, pulled them up (under the covers, of course) and went over to Snow. Then my hand went flying, hitting his face with a loud 'SMACK'! Snow gave me an innocent look, then I yelled, "We are not dating!"

With a surprised look on his face, Snow rubbed his cheek. "What is going on here?" Serah asked. "Nothing, Serah," Snow replied. "I just thought it was time we told Lightning our secret." I scratched my head, then sternly asked, "What secret?"

Snow pushed Cloud out of the room, and then closes the door. "Lightning," Serah starts, "I am pregnant with Snow's child." It felt like a wave of shock slapped me in the face. "P-p-p-pregnant?!" I stammer. Serah nods, then a smile spreads across my face. "I'm so happy for you two!"

Snow wears a tight grin, then Serah comes and hugs me. "I'm going to be an aunt," I chuckle. Serah hugs me tighter, and Snow laughs. Then the two of them hold hands and walk out. A sudden feeling of pain thrusts through my head, and I fall to the carpet floor.

My chest starts to burn, as if somebody was branding it. I rub my chest, and I feel the mark of the l'cie. It doesn't make sense, I'm not a l'cie anymore. More pain surges through me, reaching my stomach. Blood flies out of my mouth, and a portal opens in front of me.

A man with dark blue hair and red eyes walked out of it. He looked around, then collapsed right beside me. Suddenly, the door

opened, and it was 4K, holding up Cloud's bloody body. "What... the... HELL?!" I screamed. 4K laughed up a storm, then

dropped Cloud beside me. "Hey, I told you, I'm here to hunt l'cie!" 4K yelled, then pointed at Cloud's shoulder.

It was the mark of the l'cie. I looked over at the blue haired guy and he had the mark on his neck. Slowly, I pushed myself off the ground. "I'll... make you... pay..." I pushed out. 4K continued to laugh, then hit me in the stomach. More blood shot out of my mouth, and I fell to the ground again.

My vision started to turn blurry, and I heard some faint yelling. Then I closed my eyes, and fell asleep in an instant.

*Unknown POV*

My eyes opened, and there was a pink haired girl beside me. There was a blonde haired boy on my other side. I managed to push myself off the ground, and another blonde haired man with glasses was standing in front of me. "I'll kill you, l'cie scum!" He yelled, then pointed a gun in my face. It took some hard work, but I flipped backwards.

The man shot the shotgun at me, and I dodged. He kept shooting, but he stopped when he heard a scream. The man suddenly disappeared, and another pink haired girl came in with another blonde guy. I kinda see a pattern here, I thought to myself. The pink haired girl ran over to the one on the floor and said, "Lightning! Lightning, please wake up!"

Then the blonde haired guy picked me up by my shirt collar and demanded, "Did you do this?!" I shook my head, and he dropped me. The pink haired girl started to cry, and the blonde haired guy hugged her. Man, who are these people, and where am I?
