*Hope POV* (at his house)
"LIGHTNING!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, and sat up in bed. It must have been one of my weird dreams... I look over at my alarm clock. It says 7:30. I let out a yawn and get out of bed.
My feet slip into my slippers. I walk over to my closet and open the door. Inside, there is a variety of clothes to wear. But I wasn't planning to go anywhere today. I fall backwards and flop onto the bed.
Without Lightning, there's nothing to do. I was gonna ask her out today, but yestersday, she just disappeared. Could it be like when she saved falling Cocoon? The way Serah saw Lightning disappear into thin air? My head hurt at the thought.
I curled my self under the bed sheets and lied back down. The dream was weird, but I needed to sleep more. My eyelids fluttered, then I fell into a deep sleep.*Cloud POV* (at Tifa's place.)
"LIGHTNING!!!" I screamed as I sat up in bed. Tifa rushed into my bedroom. "What's wrong, Cloud?!" She asked, looking worried. I shook my head. "That girl..." Tifa said, turning. I jumped up and gripped Tifa's shoulder. "What about Lightning?" I demanded.
"She must be a sign from the gods," Tifa responded. I chuckled a little, then looked over at Tifa. She had a serious look in her eyes. "You serious?" I asked. Tifa growled, then said, "Of course! You found her in the life stream, didn't you?!"I nodded, then she looked out the window. "You must love her," Tifa sighed. Suddenly, I slipped out of bed and grabbed her hand. "Of course not! Tifa, I love you!" I exclaimed. But I was lying. Lightning seemed perfect, but Tifa...
"She didn't even get to meet Denzel or Marlene," Tifa started. Then tears streamed down her face. "Cloud, you have to check on her! Lightning could be in danger right now!" Before I could argue, I realized she was right. I nodded my head, then ran off towards the church.
*Sephiroth POV*
The pink-haired girl passed out, then I picked her up in one arm. As I was about to leave, Cloud came running through the doors. He gave me an angered look and yelled, "Sephiroth, put Lightning down!!!" I chuckled at the stupid thought. "She already has it," I tell him. "You know, geostigma."
Cloud grits his teeth. "What the hell did you do?!" he asked. "I didn't do this," I tell him. "She's stayed in Midgar too long. She probably wants to go home." He took a step forward, but I pointed my sword at him.
"Another inch closer," I warned, "and I'll make you a dead man." Without hesitation, Cloud grabbed the hilt of his sword and swung it in my direction. I easily blocked the weak strike and pushed him back. "Maybe..." I thought aloud, "if I threaten this girl, you'll change your mind." The direction of my sword changes, and the blade lays against the girl's throat.
"You bastard!!" He yelled, then flaild the sword towards me. To my surprise, the Lightning girl is out of my hold and blocks the attack. "Lightning?" Cloud asks, then she throws him back. Without speaking, Lightning sheathed the sword and walked in my direction. "Where do we go next?" She asked. I grin, and Cloud lifts his head.
"We shall go were we are needed," I respond. Cloud doesn't move as we leave. He just sits there and mumbles something to himself.*Cloud POV*
When they left, I tried to get up. But my attempts were useless. No matter how hard I tried, my body wouldn't budge. Then I look at my right arm. It's covered in black spots. I had geostigma once again, and I cursed.
Pain wails through my body. I was useless, I couldn't stop Lightning. She had become one of "them." But I still have some of the water that was once in the church where the flowers are now. It cures the geostigma we both have now.
I drag my body over to a box and pull out one of the many bottles of water I have. My lips are parched, and I tilt the bottle up. The clear water-like liquid goes down my throat ice cold. All of the black spots on my arm disappear almost instantly. But before I could move anymore, everything goes pitch black.*Lightning POV*
I look down at my hands. They aren't trembling with fear like they usually do. My eyes travel over to Sephiroth, the man who gave me this power. "Sephiroth," I say, breaking the silence. He tilts his head my way and replys, "What is it, darling?"
"What is this power?" I ask, looking at the black spots on my arms. Sephiroth chuckles, then looks my way again. "It's called geostigma. It boosts your physical and magical abilities." I nod at his answer, and we continue to walk in silence.
But then the pain runs through my hard once again. I fall to the ground in agony, and I expect Sephiroth to leave me behind. The weak do not deserve to stand at his side. But instead, Sephiroth sweeps me up into his arms. "What?" I confusingly gasp.
Without speaking, Sephiroth continues to walk. Later on, he whispers in my ear, "You can rest. I can sense that you are tired." When he says those words, I drift off to sleep.

I again wake up standing in the flowers. The girl that was leaning on my back last time was still there. "How come you are helping him?" Serah asked. "He saved me from becoming weak," I replied. "Wow, sis, that is so not like you," she giggled.
Without hesitation, I turn around and see the girl's face. It was Serah Farron, my little sister. Tears swam down my face and I fell to my knees. I cover my eye a with my hands and say, "I'm so sorry Serah, I just don't know what's going on. I barely even remember you!"
"I'll help you gain your memories!" Serah squeals. She grabs my arm and pulls me up off the ground. "Why would you help someone as weak as me?" I asked. Serah gave me a confused look, then grinned. "We're sister's, silly!"
