~~ Quick notice: The plot line is going to get a little bit messed up right about now for this story. Since Tokoyami joined Hawks later on in the series I'm going to change it to where it's the time when everyone gets an internship for convenience. Also this chapter is pretty short... D:~~
After walking home that day I searched up the hero Hawks trying to find out some information on him or at least something to show how my quirk could help his hero office. I found absolutely nothing except fanart and fanfictions online which was disappointing at the very least when I was trying to find out information. I learned the hard way that Hawks is a Hero who has gained a lot of attention lately due to his quirk and... looks.
His quirk was fudging chicken wings which in no way coordinates with my huggy quirk in any way, shape, or form. He was the only Pro Hero willing to have me as their intern so I don't really have many choices to choose from. 'Hawks it is...'

"Remember to treat these internships like real jobs. They can decide where you might work in the future so make sure to make an influence.", Aizawa tells the bustling group of kids. I notice that Iida still looks really upset from the other day. It seems that a couple of kids know what happened but won't tell anyone else because of his privacy. 'I hope he's okay though...'
Once Aizawa dismisses all of us we head to our designated train stations to begin our internships. All I can do for now is hope my internship has a good start.

"This was the address... I'm sure I didn't make a mistake.", I mumble to myself staring down at the white paper with my hero office instructions. I reread it just in case I made a stupid mistake but there wasn't anything I missed. "So his hero office is in an apartment.", I state to myself trying to hold in a small laugh of disbelief.
I open the glass doors to the main lobby looking around for an elevator of stairwell to get up to the floor I need. 'How many floors does this place even have?' The paper I'm holding says that he's at the top floor which isn't really that specific but it's enough information for me to know where to go. 'Hopefully they have an elevator...'
The receptionist seems to glance at me, look at my U.A. uniform, and goes back to work in merely seconds. She seems to understand why I'm here and doesn't question it at all. I look around for a second before I notice an elevator. Sighing happily to myself, I walk over to the elevator to press the up button... except the button didn't work.
The lady seems to know what's going as she comments," The elevator hasn't been working for a couple of days. You have to use the stairs over there." and then she points at the stairwell nearby. 'Top floor can't be that far up... right?'

"*HUFF* Why- *HUFF* did I- *wheeze* choose to go here for an internship?", I groan to myself having already gone up 24 flights of stair still having levels to go until I reach the top. I really should have expected something like this for the beginning of my internship. It was all probably a practical scheme to break the elevator to make me have to climb the stairs.
Either way, This whole experience was already not off to a good start. A couple of flights of stair to go and I should finally be at the top and this whole torture session will be at a end. (for now at least) Each step was another pain in my legs and my throat felt dry due to me breathing in and out through my mouth.
I close my eyes shut for the last couple of steps with sweat dripping from my brow. Those PE classes in middle school sure would have been useful right about now.
*thump*
I throw myself onto the cold hard floor ahead of me where the stairs finally ended their abyssal rein. 'Ima just stay here for a little while as I contemplate all of my life choices and the reason I'm still existing.' And so I lay still on the cold ground on my back, facing the ceiling. I begin calming down and getting a bit more relaxed as I lay there still breathing a little bit heavy.
*Ding!*
Looking over besides me, I see the elevator doors open and somebody steps out of it with a bag or take out food in their hands. He walks over to me and looks down confusedly. "Are you the intern by any chance?", He asks me and I immediately mentally facepalm. "Yeah that's me...", I mumble loud enough for him to hear. His face lights up and he motions for me to get up.
I get up because I'm too tired to argue and he immediately puts the takeout food in my hands. "Here yah go! Being my intern is going to be hard so you better be ready.", He announces to me and I just nod tiredly already done for the day. He walks over to what I assume is his apartment door and jams his keys into the lock messing around with it for a while before he gets the hang of it.
"ONWARD INTERN!", he shouts energetically opening the door leading inside. All I can do right now is think to myself how hectic today is going to be.
~~ My friend's birthday was today! 1/17/19 so Ima just put this here so when she read this chapter (hopefully) she gets a lil' surprise.~~
