Y/n hasn't been heard from in days, not even at school, not even outside. Mike was worried but to scared to find her.
Y/n sat up against a tree near a lake. Mumbling that she wasn't good enough for anything, anyone. She hasn't felt this sad in a long time. The cold breeze hitting her soft skin.
She was in such a daze.
Her head outside of earth.
She heard her name getting called in the back of her head. At least she thought it was the back of her head. It was Steve. He was with Dustin. "Damn it." Y/n cursed under her breathe.
She got up for where she was sitting brushing dirt off her pants. "How did you guys find me?" Y/n asks. "You've always came here to get away from things." Dustin says. "Why should I even be talking to you guys, since I shouldn't be apart of a friend group." Y/n says mocking Mike's words.
"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Steve says. "No-nothing its nothing." Y/n says swallowing harshly. "What are you hiding, kiddo?" Steve asks.
Y/n plays with her fingers, a loop in her throat. She felt like crying. "I said what Mike told me, he doesn't want me being friends with everyone, he thinks i'm not needed for anything, he is always pitying me." Y/n says letting a few tears trickle down her cheek.
"Woah, Mike said that?" Dustin asks.
Y/n nodded quickly.
"Don't listen to him, he is just being stupid." Steve says putting a hand on Y/n's shoulder for comfort. "His words won't leave my head, I feel meaningless." Y/n says wiping her tears.
"I'll talk to him." Steve says. Y/n nodded a 'yes' slowly. "But will you please come back? Just avoid Mike." Dustin spoke.
"I guess, I can't stay here forever." Y/n says. "And it's seven in the morning, it's creepy out here." Y/n says.
They all started walking back.
"I'm not ready to go back to school yet." Y/n says as she takes a step on her porch. "Well i'll be having a chat with Mike." Steve says.
"You guys are the best." Y/n says with a small smile. She gives them both a hug. "I'll see you guys some other time." Y/n says walking in her house.
