Mike~ Missing You, Ending

This is the final chapter of 'Missing You' , like always make sure you have read the previous parts!

It was the next day, Mike was scared of what was to be shown to him. Y/n was also afraid but everything needed to be let out someday, and today is the day.

School was cancelled so here Y/n was, waiting.

Y/n cluched the paper harder in her hands as she heard footsteps. "Y/n." Mike says. "I-I wanted to show you this, you needed to know about it someday." Y/n says, handing him the paper.

He gazed at her before opening it.

And these are the words it said:

'M W the initials for the one I long for. If you're reading this I just want to say some things. You have always been there for me. I guess I got to attached to that feeling, huh? When you got with El it broke my heart beyond repair, but you was happy, that's all I cared about. I had a small crush on you at start but I started liking you more and more everyday. You're such a sweet person and all I want for you is to be happy. I have a feeling you aren't very happy around me.'

Y/n was staring at the ground avoiding eye contact. "The stupid note doesn't matter no more." Y/n says her voice breaking. Mike looked up at the girl.

"I-I don't have feelings for you no more." Y/n says still avoiding eye contact. "I found someone else.." Y/n says. Mike's jaw dropped. "I guess I got over the feeling." Y/n says.

Mike's eyes were glossy.

"That's all I needed to show you." Y/n says. Mike puts the note in his pocket. "We're still friends, right?" Mike says, worried. "Of course." Y/n says.

"I'm gonna head home." Y/n says.

"Y/n wait!" Mike yelled after her tears flowing down his cheeks. She looks up at him. "What." Y/n mumbles. "I used to like you too but it doesn't matter because you don't feel the same." Mike says wiping his tears.

Y/n felt her heart crack. She lied about losing feelings, she lied about how she found someone. "Please, Mike don't break me anymore!" Y/n says her voice croaky.

"We've been stuck in this loop for, four years, i'm tired of being nothing to you!" Y/n says as tears trickled down her easeful cheek. "I don't think we should stay friends.." Y/n says.

Mike was in shock. He felt weak in his stomach.

To much was happening, he couldn't handle it.

2 months have passed, Y/n hasn't talk to Mike or anyone else surrounding him. That feeling of weakness still hasn't left his stomach.

He kept the note.

Mike felt alone around everyone.

Y/n kept the pictures of her and Mike, just for a memory, that's all. It's good to remember someone that used to be great to you.

She is still guilty for still putting stress on him for these 2 months. Y/n only gained one friend her name was 'Sophia' Sophia Lillis to be exact.

She was one of the new students.

"Why did Y/n stop hanging out with us?" Dustin asks.

"Me."
