I have long since mastered the art of silent sarcasm. This is the ability to be sarcastic, without actually saying a word. This came in handy in mornings like this one, where my dad and my twin brother were shouting basketball terms at each other during breakfast.
"Remember Troy. Fake right, break left. Watch out for defense and keep an eye on the fence!" This came from Dad , and was met with a slight eye roll from me.
"Run the give and go, take the ball to the hole!" This was Troy.
" And don't be afraid to shoot the outside 'J'! " And that was them together.
As I silently judge them and sip my coffee, the front door open. In walks Chad Danforth, my brothers best friend, and the only person who doesn't talk to me just to get in with Troy.
"What's up Boltons? Mrs. Bolton, Coach, Troy, Lei," Chad greets.
Chad goes around, hugging my mom, fist-bumping my dad, doing the weird bro hug thing with Troy, and finally hugging me.
Now, I know what you're thinking, and Chad would never like me like that. I may have some sort of feelings for him, but the would never be requited. And why mess with a good thing?
As Chad, Troy, and I all pile into my car, I can feel something stirring inside me. It was a feeling I often got around Chad, and I wished it would go away.
What I didn't know, was that in the seat next to me, he was feeling the exact same way.
A/N!!!!! Hi! This is my first story, and it's probably not that good. But I hope you all enjoy it. There's not enough Chad fanfics , and I want to change that so, here we go! This story will not follow the exact plot of HSM, but will reference back to it at points. I hope you all enjoy Chad and Leila's story!!
