"Be honest, Sehun. Does this dress make my butt look big?" I tried my hardest to crane my head backwards to check out my booty underneath the shimmering silver, floor-length nightgown while Sehun checks me out appreciatively.
"No."
I narrowed my perfectly winged eyes at him: "You're lying just for my sake, aren't you?" As Sehun stifled a laugh, I whined even more: "Arghhhhh I knew it! I look hideous, Sehun. I can't attend Jongdae's wedding looking like this, I-"
Sehun suddenly stood up from the couch of the hotel room we rented and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Hey, relax. Shhh...." He subconsciously tried to run his fingers through my hair as he usually does to console me, but refrained himself after seeing my newly curled hair in an elegant do.
"You look amazing, sweetheart. I was just joking." Sehun leaned forward to softly sniff my neck, which have been sprayed with my favourite "Daisy" perfume by Marc Jacobs. " You smell crazily good too."
I relaxed a little at his touch, and breathed out a soft sigh as I wrapped my arms around his neck: "Stop the flattering, lover boy." I was about to lean forward for a quick kiss but Sehun, being the dense, unromantic fool that he is completely ignored me and returned his attention to his necktie, lying in a sorry heap on the couch.
"Do you know how to tie a necktie? I kinda need help" Sehun still looked like a helpless child despite wearing his all-black classic tuxedo that I couldn't help but shake my head at him.
I wrapped the long piece of unravelled fabric around his neck while he stared at me deeply as I manouvered around him. He wrapped his arms around my waist again, almost like a default position of his now.
"What would I do without you, jagi?" He sighed and leaned in for a peck.
"Molla, try and see."
"...."

The boys looked dashing as usual, even more so with their matching black tuxedos. All of them complimented me on my classy look, while Sehun looked on smugly with the universal expression of "Yup, that's my girl right there". We caught up the newlyweds at the entrance, and as the boys warmly hugged and gave Jongdae his wedding gifts, I embraced Jongdae's wife tightly."Congratulations, JD/W/N! You look absolutely stunning tonight. Best wishes to you, Jongdae and mini Jongdae!" My emotions were pretty strong as we've became good friends upon introduction by both Sehun and Chen, and often go out on coffee dates to rant about the boys and sometimes, the trouble with dating the "Kings of Kpop".
Seeing such a good friend find the love that she deserves, I stepped back and stared longingly at her as she returned the deep gaze. My eyes watered a little as I whispered: "You deserve everything, JD/W/N. Although the road ahead might be tougher for you because of the exposure, know that we'll always be by your side protecting you."
"Aish, Y/N! You're about to ruin my makeup by making me cry!" Jongdae's wife giggled as she fanned her eyes feverishly and batted my arm playfully,"Go take a seat, yeah? I'll be with you shortly."
Sehun found me afterwards, trying desperately to stop the tears from flowing as I hid in the furthest corner of the snack tables for guests before entering the dining hall. He made eye contact and excused himself from the boys, who are now taking champagne shots like there's no tomorrow.
Without a word, he pulled me into his chest and gently patted my back as I tried my hardest to stop the tears from flowing.
"I'm fine, you know." I mumbled against his sturdy chest, although his tux is now dampened by the remaining tears.
"Sure you are, you hopeless romantic." Sehun sighed softly yet tenderly. After a while, Sehun propped my head upwards and gently dabbed away my ruined mascara and makeup under my eyelids. People, especially the girls are staring at us now, and I immediately composed myself, hating for any sort of attention.
"I'm just so happy for them, it's been so long." I mumbled again, feeling a lot better this time. Sehun chuckled and led me towards the dining hall.
"Come on now, the boys will be wondering what's wrong by now."
