We don't hunt children.

Explaining Bonnie's sudden appearance to the group had been an interesting time. You can't exactly say 'hey, Bonnie's a witch and she found us through a locator spell'. That would get them kicked out of the group real fast so Lina lied and said they found the witch hiding in the church. Which was technically a lie, it was just omitting the truth.

"Of course you would bring in the strays." Daryl commented, earning a punch to the arm from the youngest Petrova.

"I don't wanna hear it from you, Mr I'm too tough to have friends but I'm really a softy." Lina retorted with a playful grin. Her time with the group was fairly short but she seemed to be growing on the grumpy redneck. Which was a bit surprising considering they were exact opposites.

"Whatever you say, Princess." Daryl replied with a roll of his eyes. Though as the group approached the road their conversation was interrupted by a woman riding a horse.

"Lori? Lori Grimes?" The woman called out. Her gaze darting between all the present women. Admittedly after one look it was safe to say Salem had a new woman crush. Not only was she pretty but she could ride a horse! How cool.

The woman in question stepped forward. A look of concern etched in her thin features as she eyeballed the newcomer.

"Rick sent me. You've got to come now." The woman informed Lori, whose worry only seemed to grow.
"There's been an accident. Carl's been shot. He's still alive but you've got to come now. Rick needs you. Just come"

"Whoa whoa whoa. We don't know this girl. You can't get on that horse." Daryl objected immediately, earning a few words of agreement from Bonnie and Lina.

"Rick said you had others on the highway, that big traffic snarl?" The woman continued though Glenn piped up with a hum of agreement. By now Lori had already been pulled atop the horse. Her thin arms wrapped around the woman.

"Backtrack to Fairburn road. Two miles down is our farm. You'll see the mailbox. The name is Greene." The woman continued before vanishing into the woods with movies.

"Damn.... What a woman." Lina commented after a few minutes of silence. Though the others could only shake their head at her antics.

"Shut up." Daryl grumbled in agitation as the others proceeded to assault them with questions.

"Shot? What do you mean shot?" Dale pried, his tired eyes glancing between he trio who stood before him.

* I don't know, Dale. I wasn't there." Glenn replied with a small shrug. Though the look of excitement on Lina's face spoke for itself.

"She was so cool! She rode up like a cowgirl, whisked Lori away to do some train heist.", Lina mumbled to herself, though the others sent her a look of disbelief. We all know Daryl was judging her hardcore.

"All I know is this chick rode out of nowhere like Zorro on a horse and took Lori." Glenn explained with yet another shrug.

At this point Lina had begun to zone out. Her thoughts wandering to the two young children in danger. First Sophia, who vanished during an encounter with a hoarde. Then Carl, who she had bonded with fairly quickly upon arrival. At times being around Carl made Lina feel like her daughter was still around. The way the young boy would reply with cute little witty remarks or how he would let out a little giggle after Lina would curse then fall into a state of panic.

lina had always had one rule: done hurt children. Well in this case it's don't hunt children. That one dude didn't seem to get the memo.

Every fiber of her being wanted to rush off into the woods- to find the farm and heal Carl. She knew she couldn't. It would bring too much suspicion but that didn't mean she didn't want to.

After a bit of discussion, it was decided that Glenn and T-Dogg would be the first to head to the farm. Though that was only because T-Dogg's dumb ass decided to slice his arm open. If it weren't for that Lina would have told the man to suck a fuck and let her go. In the end, Daryl had to drag the angry woman away from the others before she did something stupid. Like punch someone.

Wouldnt have been the first time considering Lina had punched the living daylights out of Shane,  much like when she first met him at the quarry. She had no chill when it came to misogynistic assholes like Shane Walsh. He gave her bad vibes to begin with.

"You're gonna get ya ass kicked one day. " Daryl informed the fuming girl, who only shrugged in return.

"We all know the only people who stand a chance are you, my mom and bonnie. Everyone else is too weak." Lina informed him with a look of disapproval. "It's like you don't know me at all."

"I kinda wish I didn't."

"The audacity- this is why you have no friends."

The pair had been chosen for the first watch of the night, leaving them to talk for a few hours. Well for Lina to talk. Daryl spent most of the time silent with the occasional hum of grin in response. This was progress, at least he was finally acknowledging her unlike when they had first met.

The next morning the remaining members of the group packed up and made their way to the farm. Lina had joined Daryl on then back of his motorcycle- all of her stuff had been stuffed into a backpack. One she had stolen from a car on the highway. Bonnie and Katherine had both piled into the rv with some of the others, much to Katherine's dismay. She still wasn't fond of the witch, though they had learned to get along for Lina's sake.

The same went for setting up camp on the Greene farm. The eldest vampire and the witch had been stuck sharing a tent, while Salem obnoxiously followed Daryl to the edge of the property. Her smaller tent set up opposite of his.

"I'm getting real tired of you following me around like a stray fuckin dog." Daryl informed her. His usual threatening scowl only causing her to grin.

"Awe, if you asked me to sit I just might." Lina replied sarcastically, throwing her book bag into the smaller tent. "I'm heading up to the house, don't wait up for me."

"Wasn't planning on it."
