The Phone Call

*Dan's POV*

"Uhh...Hello?"

Oh my gosh he actually picked up!

"Oh uh yeah h-hello! um is this.......uh Officer Patrick MMOs?" I asked as I looked down at the paper in my hands.

"Who wants to know?" the man on the other end most likely this Patrick guy said skeptically.

"Look you don't know me but my name is Dan Minecart and I think you might have seen my boyfriend.....he's lost and I don't know what I-" I spoke but was soon cut off by the man on the other line.

"Wait did you say you were Dan Minecart?" The man asked quickly with a surprised tone.

"uhhh yeah why?" I raised my eyebrow questionably.

"I have been on your case for the past five years!!"

"My case? what are you talking about? I'm not a criminal.....at least I think im not....."

"No no I mean you and all your friends were a major lost person case, that many people going missing at the same time ain't right, what happened to you guys? Is anyone injured?" He rambled on asking questions about our safety.

"Yeah yeah were fine were all here but again I'm going to ask you, have you seen my boyfriend he's about-" I was going to describe him until I was yet again interrupted.

"Four foot eleven, curly brown hair, freckles, green eyes and orangish yellow cat ears on his head, named Stampy?" he asked describing him perfectly.

"you've seen him?!" I practically yelled into the phone causing people walking the street to stare at me and my friends.

"He's seen Stampy?!" Lee exclaimed as he made his way toward me with squid right behind him.

"well he's actually here in my house so yeah...."

"Is he ok?! is he hurt?!" I asked as I desperately tried not to yell.

"Yes he is perfectly fine, safe and sound I even had my doctor friend check him out he's going to be fine"

"Oh thank god..."

"Look how about we have a meeting spot somewhere in the city and I'll bring him there so you guys can be reunited" He said with a calming friendly tone.

"yes definitely, where should we meet?" I asked anxiously, I couldn't wait to see my Stampy again.

"hmmmm have you ever been to the Party Dome?"

"what the heck is a Party Dome?" I asked confusedly, during my time here there was never such thing as a Party Dome in the city.

"Well this giant company opened up almost five years ago and they created this place called the Party Dome its kinda like a nightclub but its always open no matter the time, its gigantic you can't miss it" he explained.

"what kinda company would make something like that?" I asked confusedly

"The company that made it does pretty much everything.......including wrecking the environment..... but yeah they are constantly producing new technology that seems almost like magic its strange but I guess its successful"

"That seems odd that a company opened up around the same time me and my friends disa- oh my god what am I doing, I'm getting off topic. Look yes we will meet you there, we'll wait out at the front...or at the side of the building because I'm not sure how I feel about a club like that...." I rambled on agreeing with the man on the phone.

"Alright meet me there at seven PM, My doctor friend is still having a look at him and he seems exhausted" the man explained as I could hear him bustling around through the phone.

"Ok I'll see you then, oh and thank you so much I don't know what I would have done with out you!" I thanked him as I hung up and handed the phone back to Lizzy unable to stop my smile from growing.

"He's safe...." I sighed deeply in relief almost falling over feeling the weight of anxiety being lifted from my shoulders. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit as I saw my friends cheer and celebrate knowing that their favorite cat friend was safe and sound.

"were going to be together soon Stamps...I promise"

*Patrick's POV*

Once I got off the phone I put away my gear and headed back into the living room to see how things were going, When I looked through the doorway I couldn't help but smile. There was Jenn sitting on the couch happily chatting with Stampy. It was nice to see Jenn no longer freaking out, I would have thought she would have stayed clear of Stampy for the rest of the time he was here.

I  walked over to the kitchen to see Aphmau leaning against the table looking down at a small device that had a small glass tube poking out of it filled with a small amount of clear liquid.

"What's in that?" I asked as I go over to the coffee maker with a newly cleaned mug from the cabinet.

"That Stampy kid's spit" she said tiredly as she studied the device's screen while the contents in the glass tube whirled around mixing with a chemical she plopped into it.

"So.... what did you find in his DNA?" I shrugged as I poured some coffee into my mug.

"First of all Pat the machine isn't finished calibrating and second of all you can't just let that poor boy go around thinking he's a cat!!" She exclaimed as she poked me in the chest while giving me a intimidating glare.

"why do you think I asked you to do this, now he will realize he isn't a cat and be able to go on with life like a regular person" I said as I stepped to the side trying to remove myself from her terrifying gaze.

"Hmmm....ok that might actually work maybe if we te-" she began but was interrupted by small dinging noise.

We both looked over at the device on the table seeing the liquid in the tube had changed color from clear to a sparkling mix of purple and orange.

"What on earth...." Aph whispered in shock of what she was seeing.

"What? is that bad? why are the colors like that?" I asked as I walked over to the table with Aph to get a better look.

"This c-can't be real, it's impossible!!" She stammered as she looked over the device screen and test tube, her eyes gone wide in disbelief.

"Whats impossible?! Aph tell me!!" I exclaimed as I grabbed her by the shoulders my mind being filled with worry.

"T-There is no sign of human DNA at all in here.....no sign of any DNA type we have on earth!! and the closest match to any of it is......." She stared at the screen in utter disbelief.

"Is what Aph?"

"Feline......"
