And so we come to the end! Finally! But not to fear. If you enjoyed it enough (and I really hope you did) Promise the Sky will be continued, hopefully sooner rather than later, in Silence Falls. And I have big plans - not finalised ones, but big ones none-the-less. Anyone, however, that is too impatient to wait while I plan is welcome to stop by my profile and find my collection of story summaries and first chapters. I'm going to have a go at writing one or more stories alongside Silence Falls, and you can influence which tale I go for next :)
This is just a tiny chapter that I'm putting in, and I'll probably change it later, but I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for your support. Everybody who's voted, even just once, has made a difference, and I've noticed. In fact, I wrote them all down, kept all the names, and have dedicated as many chapters as I could to those people.
I want also to thank my mother, who painstakingly read, and sometimes re-read and re-read, every single chapter. She's the reason this thing isn't riddled with inconsistencies and typos... even if she did think Ella was red for 90% of the book :P
But I always need more help. If you can take the time, just a few minutes, to go back and vote on one chapter, two chapters, four chapters, EVERY chapter - every little helps, and the Wattys are just a week away. That would make me the happiest chappy.
This story is also in the running for a Special Award, but I need nominations! That is, if you think my setting was creative enough to be worthy of a shot at 'Most Imaginative Setting'. Anyone who has a few seconds to spare, to make my day, would be loved forever if they could use those seconds to nominate: directions for how to do so are on my profile.
