After Everything

Blocking my ears by putting a pillow on top of my head i could hear my parents having an intimate scene which i find disturbing as i hear them say sexual stuff and it is very uncomfortable listening. I tried changing rooms before but my excuse dont work because it will be very awkward if i tell then that 'i heard you guys whimpering dirty comments about one another so i want to get a different room'. My parents think i know nothing about sex but im almost 18 years old i know plenty stuff about it - an awful amount - as we have 3 hours sessions on it. By the time its 10:15pm i hear nothing but silence and i slowly fall asleep.

'BEEP BEEP BEEP' my alarm literally screams in my ear i wake up to get ready for school but as i open my eye its black i get scared for a moment but then i realise i am under my pillow its takes a moment to realise why i am under there and its because my parents had sex whilst i was trying to go to sleep and i heard them moaning and groaning each other's name i get up and shake my body to get rid of those thoughts of mum and dad whispering to each others ear and having sex.  So i go to the bathroom; brush my teeth, wash my face, do my hair, apply makeup, get my outfit ready for the day and go to wake Auden up as he wakes up at the same time dad wakes ul and i wake up an hour earlier at 6:00am so now its become my 'duty' to wake him up , i am pretty sure he can wake up by himself because i did when i was his age!

I come back home late as i was in the book store with Auden and Dad, and we had to drop him off at this best friends house for a sleepover. "Im exhausted" i say to mum as i walk in the kitchen to see what she is making for me to eat. - Mince Tacos - not my favourite but i couldn't care less because i am fucking starving - i know i shouldnt swear but mum and dad swear under the breath all the time and now i am used to saying it so it is partially their fault. "Same im knackered; didnt get any sleep last night." Mum says and i cringe at the fact that i know the reason; my parents had sex. Being the idiot i am i say "How comes you couldnt get to sleep, you always get to sleep within five minutes."
Mum stares at me then to dad then to the Mince Tacos she is making and says "i just couldn't okay, rough night." I leave the kitchen to go to the dining room and say the phrase over my head 'rough night'. I don't know why but i start giggling and dad looks at me like he knows what is going on my mind.

Mum gives us our Mince Tacos and a glass of cold water, she sits down next to dad with is usually where Auden sits but she replaced his seat for hers. I look at her with one of my eyebrows raised to see that im concerned why she is sitting their ; we make eye contact and tells me "I am allowed to sit here, next to your father, okay. Eat your food and then we will put a movie on as its the weekend." I look away and finish my dinner and leave my plate on the table as mum or dad always load the dishwasher up and hates it if we do it but i go to my room to change in to my light pink silky Victoria Secret pyjamas - which dad brought me and mum for christmas to be 'matching' - i still love it regardless. I walk out and head towards the kitchen to grab some popcorn for the movie we were going to watch but at this rate i dont think we are; Mum is on the counter, Dad is inbetween her legs while their snogging each other's face like legit eating each other's faces off. They couldnt hear me because the dishwasher is too loud to hear any movement so i walk out to the living room and sit down and pretend i never saw them doing their 'moment' and i shout "What film shall we watch?". I hear mum laugh and dad whispering "We will try again later alright?" And mum replies with "Yes, but Emery is in the other room waiting for us to choose a film, lets go ." Mum comes in whilst pulling her jeans up and her t-shirt down which is skin tight on her but dad loves it so its kind of for him. Dad sits down in the middle of me and mum and puts his hand arounds mums waist and she thighs while they hold hands and i nearly gag at the fact my parents are like a cringy couple theses days. We are half way through a movie which is all about love, they really are purposely trying to make me throw up aren't they? I leave the room without them noticing and slam my room door hard enough for them to hear, their footsteps coming towards my room, they come in and dad says "Didnt like the film?" I roll my eyes which i hope they didnt realise because
I promised on my Grandfathers life i wouldnt, so i cover my face with my hand and reply with "no i am just tired thats all, sorry for slamming the door hard making you guys come in here." I look up at both of them and smile so they can leave the room. Mum says "Its fine we were about to go bed too" she said while looking down at her phone.
