After Everything

I chase after Emery, knocking on her door to open the door while doing so, I feel bad for shouting at Auden none of this was his fault, so why did I snap at him for? Ugh sometimes I hate myself for treating my kids like this.

Minutes later I gave up, instead of banging on the door I headed for my room. I need a hot and relaxing shower where its only me and I only think of me and no one else. I know what your thinking, selfish right? In a way yes, I'm their mother and I'm Hardin's wife and I should always think of them no matter what the situation is but in a way no because I have to think about myself too, I need to take care of myself first so I will have the strength of looking after them.

I get my pyjamas ready and turn the faucet in making sure the temperatures is increased to make it steamy. I washed my hair with a Mint and Apples scent shampoo and washed my body with a vanilla body scrub. It took less than half an hour which surprisingly I was gutted towards, because I low-key wanted it to be longer, anything to be alone.

After drying myself I go to see where Hardin is, only to my surprise he is in bed with something small and white in his hand which I can't figure out from afar. As I come closer I realise its a pregnancy stick. "Have you took test in the last 3 days?" Hardin asked me and I reply with shaking my sideways. "Then do it now." He suggests but it sounds more like a demand. I nod, then take the pregnancy stick.

I wait.

He waits.

We wait. It's been a couple of minutes, so we decided to check if I am pregnant or not. "It's positive." I hug Hardin, I don't know how to feel. "We need to tell the kids." I look up at him and reply with "yes, we do but we need to tell them about England too."  He nods. "First we will tell them about England then the pregnancy. Okay?" I answer back with a nod.

It's been 2 months since we found out we're pregnant and my bump is showing but I wear baggy tops and hoodies. We told them about England and they were over the moon, well Auden was. Now we just need to tell them about them having a sibling.

"So me and your mum has some news to tell you" Hardin looks at me with a smile then goes back to telling the kids. "She's pregnant!" No reaction just silence. After a minute of not talking Emery and Auden came and hugged us. "Congrats mom, thank you." Emery mumbled.

Well that went well. Very well indeed.

The rest of the day was good, my kids a made sure I rested all day and I was happy because it made them do the chores they never do.

We ate home made lasagne, by the one and only Hardin Scott. It was scrumptiously tasty, that I took seconds. We didn't watched a film but we began watching a series, it wasn't a cliché love story because i know Emery and Auden will hate watching it so we decided to watch Riverdale  I know Emery was crushing on Archie Andrews the whole time because she will look deeply into the screen when he comes on. My and Auden made fun of her while Hardin was backing up his daughter, but yet he did tell her 'don't get your hopes up, you won't have a boyfriend till your 30.' Whilst Hardin was laughing and Emerys laugh stopped I saw Auden face shocked.

Did she have a boyfriend? She didn't even bother telling us?

I didn't think to much it, I am becoming such an over thinker and I kind of hate it. We carried on watching the series with no disruption and now Emery didn't even gawk at the tv screen when ever Archie Andrew came on. I guess something did happen.

We were only on the 6th episode and its been hours since we started and we decided we will carry in watching it later. Emery and Auden took the dishes and loaded up the dish washer and cleaned the surfaces so their won't be any dirt on it, they know how OCD I am. So keep need this house to be Spik and Span.  Whilst Hardin was having a quick shower and I was laying on the couch. (Which Hardin calls a sofa, ugh British people.)

He sits down beside me, massaging my legs that are on top of him now. Auden and Emery come back and we discuss certain things like going to England. We landed on the topic of how the party Auden went to. He looked hesitant to tell us but then he just told us it was great but the music was to loud and how the mother let them have alcohol at such a young age but their was people older than him and how a boy Owen dropped him off. What I found suspicious was when he was saying it he was saying slowly so we understand what he is talking about whilst he telling us he looked at Emery but with fear and she looked shocked and confused with her frowning her eyebrows. Before I could say anything Hardin spoke up talking about me being pregnant. "So what do you guys think the gender will be? A boy or girl? I really want another son." What about you tess?" It takes me time to process what he is saying and I reply with "Um, I want it to be a girl." Auden agrees with his dad and I question what she thinks but she says..

"Mom, Dad. I need to tell you something."
